Nice...

The renders shown of Jax and Kitana are new and probably what we will be seeing in the future. From what I can see Kitana looks awesome, and its her typical signature attire with a few alterations. Im glad the hair is chopped down a bit too. Can't wait to see the high res version!

The response to Joker is generally what I expected, especially from Comic-Con. Now, Jax's reaction was lulz-tastic.

On the whole, I think the MK team have really undercut themselves on design quality. Kitana, while sure to tickle the fancy of MK's stunted fanbase, is a real step backward.

In all honesty, since they're aiming for "iconic" value, I was not expecting much more than a minor variation of Kitana's standard blue & black bathing suit. In that regard, all I really cared about was she wouldn't have a hair bun....and I seem to have gotten that wish. So huzzah for me.

If very basic designs are the benchmark, and iconic the buzzword, I would've thought the purple maskless variation was still a strong argument. Not necessarily much more admirable, but in lieu of the movies and the distance put between the masked swap in recent games, it's a more measured compromise.

Still, I suppose at least she got lumped with simplicity associated with historically restricted technology. The spinner belt and hobo boots?
I'm still at a loss!

The more that's cut-off as a result of board borders, the more useful a visual aid it is...

That didn't make any sense . . .

Kitana's costume was expected. That is the look that is most well known and it is the one that suits her best. We'll have to wait for the official render to get a very good look at it.

at the end of the video did anyone see the compilation of the last three games.
is that like a box set . I know they didnt say anything about it but it even has a
price tag of 29.99 .
Is this the new mk collection game that i have seen talked about on here coming out also. The renders were cool. Glad to see Kitana sporting a more classic look. I hope this Jax is also more a mk 2 or 3 not the Jax as of late.

Don't know if you're being sarcastic but yea my world has really been set on fire. I'm glad they announced four characters, i didn't expect that. I knew Green Lantern and Kitana would definitely make it so they weren't much a surprise. Jax? He's ok I didn't think he was that iconic. Joker, even though I thought he'd be announced and in the game, was the biggest draw.

I think Jax's reception was just as subdued as Kitana's. People seem to be generally more excited about DC characters which is understandable because we all know what to expect from MK world. However, I would have liked the same kind of love for MK characters.

I like how they blended Kitana's looks form all the games.
Well, for what we can see.

Is it just me, or even some original Tanya desing. I think MK4 Tanya's was orihginaly supposed to be Kitana.

I like. :D

I think Jax is a wasted spot. Calling him the iconic black character is abit off...I mean fuck, Noob is black and he's a better character.
