Couple that with the many times he's responded to "You can like the game if you want but the engine isn't very good" with "Stop telling me I can't like something" and it does get very frustrating indeed.

You responded with this:

Go a head Tiger, please find me a thread any where on here where i invade it and threaten people or say who wants a piece of me.Good luck on your search, you will find NONE!!

You really need to just sit down and think. I simply said you disrupted it. Where did you get this "who wants a piece of me" garbage? And stop trying to ride Fuzzdork like a parasite. If you notice, he really hasn't said much to you and I don't blame him. If you notice, this thread has become less about MK and more about your apparent inability to read a post and respond to it without:
A) Avoiding questions or facts
B) Putting words in people's mouth (as exemplified above)
C) Saying everything that isn't MK sucks

You single handedly took this thread away from MK and made it focus on you. If that isn't disruptive then what is?

HD: You know that if MK ever has character specific boards that are filled with questions/comments/strategy/dissecting of moves that MK would be a great game. I dont play cassandra, but after reading the guide, she looks really fun. thanks for the links to gamecombos as well. VF is too hard though man.

Menthol: thanks for the tips, yeah its a bit confusing and easy to get lost. I know most of the terms now and how they fit together in the whole picture at least in a vague sense. I think I read this from Satya awhile back, but I remember him saying to understand any facet of a fighter, you gotta look at how they all fit together. Im trying that and I think its a bit much when talking about other 3d fighters. Its a bit much though and learning tekken is a bit hard. I thought soul calibur 2 was hard when I learned about how people cancel moves and how people can use so many moves in a match thats ideal at diff times. its really weird sometimes cause by playing MKD, you think that there isnt any real usage for moves besides 50/50 game and all. there are just so many reasons that the devs put in the game for you to use all the moves. But you need just so many things in soul calibur at different times and you need to do them so instinctively that its really crazy. Tekken is even a step beyond that because movement is such a big part of the game... Tekken is definitely a hard game.

Verse: I own the xbox version and heard you were a ps2 player, would have been great though, but I dont play online anymore. The game is hardly bearable gameplay wise, when you play with and play against all the problems the game has. I generally have more fun with MKD/MKDA offline than anything because I can sometimes pretend that I should use a lot of the moves in my movelist lol.

MKF: You lack the ability to read. I don't know where you thought I was contradicting myself, but I did make an aside because you make people that are fans of MKD (for all reasons, even with the broken gameplay) look bad. Also a lot of your arguments throughout this entire thread was pretty much WTF to me as well. Like the messageboard thing HD posted, the whole opinion cancelling fact thing and then the whole MK fans dont point out the flaws when you do it too. Also the few times that you spoke about the game, it didnt make any sense. Im a newbie when it comes to 3d fighters... but even I wouldnt make up shit like that or make statements like that... I know a lot of people forgot about it by now, but I thought it was pretty funny when you copied and pasted that whole steve thing incorrectly that you must have got off a forum off a random newbie bitching.

Sometimes, I cannot comprehend the will of some people to carry on with their arguments w/ some people when others try to get the topic back on track. There were a lot of good observations till this thread got derailed. I believe there's a Chinese saying that says that if you loose your way, you must start back at the beginning. Well, let's see if we all can do that from now on.

Okay I haven't posted in this thread much, but now I see that it's got a wee bit off topic. Here, let me set this back on topic like GD suggested:

MKD sucks.

I think this thread is beyond saving nobrainer and ghostdragon. I also think that after so many posts, we can basically see the stance of anyone who posted.

I therefore vote that this thread be closed.

Awwww. Yeah, we get the stance of what people have posted, but I don't think closure is due.

This thread should not be closed until, a Midway programmer comes on here and says;
"I've listened to all your well thought gameplay lowdowns and now, with muchos satisfaction, I shall delightfully impliment them into Mk7! Top Hole!"

We could be waiting a long time... (.i.e. I don't think a single word was noticed by anyone involved in the creative team of Mk)

I used to think that MK was the best fighting game. But that was because I didn't know any better. I recently got Tekken Tag, and Tekken 5. Those two showed me just how far behind MK is. Tekken doesn't have any of that 50/50 crap, "sweep, hi attack, sweep, hi attack". Plus, there's so much more depth to Tekken. Chain throws, sidestep attacks, feints, etc. Whereas the only thing MK has is "dial-a-combo". Gets way too old after a while. The characters in Tekken are also way more diverese. In MK, I could use any character pretty much if I just remembered one combo and the sweep attack. In Tekken, each character has his or her distinct fighting style, which makes it much more difficult and time consuming to learn how to use them. When I play MK, I tend to think every character is identical except for looks.
Flame me if you want. But I think Tekken has the fighting genre dialed, and MK has only scratched the surface.

Dumbfuck, did you or did you not realize that most of the members of this site LIKE Mortal Kombat? It's called Mortal Kombat Online for a reason, so why post such a topic? This is a rather gay and idiotic attempt to instigate some reactions in the forums.

This arguement has as much sense as making a topic about Xbox vs PS2. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses, but some people like the strengths of one of them better, and that's how they form their bias. I can't say Tekken is shit, but I can't say I prefer it over MK either. Some people like Street Fighter or Soul Calibur better, but you don't see them making asses of themselves, as you are.

I could go to a Tekken site and say "MK is better because it keeps things more realistic, better characters, etc". But you know why I'm not? Because that would be STUPID. furious

Next time you wanna make a topic like this.....DON'T. STOP. THINK.

And ask yourself a question: would anyone really give a fuck?

You wouldn't say Mortal Kombat is more realistic on tekkenzaibatsu.com because that would probably be the stupidest thing they've ever heard.

If you told them that MK had better characters they would probably agree. In my opinion MKs characters rule all, and unlike people here, Tekken fans aren't ignorant to the obvious.

Perhaps the mods feel that you aren't intelligent and that people who point this out aren't really flaming just speaking the truth.

So despite my comments and several others you still haven't responded to a single point in the thread. You've tried to attatch yourself to fuzzdork despite him pointing out he has nothing to do with you and you've just made a fool of yourself as usual. Leave the thread or stay I don't really care it's always amusing making fun of your posts.

The point with all threads discussing flaws with MKD/MKDA's gameplay is to make it better. The reason Tekken is used as a comparison basis is because most American players can relate to it. Hell, I'm sure many here could whip out Virtua Fighter and start talking about the problems that MK face and the many Japanese words that are associated with Virtua Fighter's mechanics like sabaki and inashi, but it's easier to use Tekken.

I ask you this though as food for thought. What's the point of people saying certain character's ending/stories suck making up their own stories for their characters? What's the point of people saying certain fatalities suck and making up their own? To make the next game better, right? And of course you have to use a comparison basis when talking about how other games do certain things better if you wish to talk on a gameplay basis which lends itself to facts that are present in the system, more than anything else (subjective opinion/preference).

Just something I feel MK fans should do I think, and we have from MKDA (which is the reason why MKD got so many fatalities, stage fatalities, returning characters, etc. as Ed Boon claimed from many of his interviews of players wanting more of that on messageboards). Would be cool to see an MK dedicated to its fighting mechanics as well as all of those things, an MK that would have strategic depth where people would fill entire messageboards on how to a single play character. I mean imagine a 3d MK that wasnt all 50/50's and people would play the same character different because of so many strategies to execute. That would be a great game.

Again I'm in no way trying to provoke you. I've listed you, as have others, numerous cases of your own stupidity. I simply said that maybe the mods feel that it's true and thus not an insult. You say you're ignoring me yet you respond to me. You can't counter anything I have said or anybody else has said. You just ignore everybody's questions, toss random insults, then followup with how you don't like the maturity of others. You attempt to attatch yourself to another poster who is at least halfway intelligent despite him obviously not wanting to be associated with you. You've been owned in this thread over and over and you still don't have a clue whats going on. Sometimes I wish I were you because the alternate reality you exist in seems to be a whole lot better than the reality the rest of us live in.
