Exactly dragon good point,even if you disagree with me too i like that point when you said gee if these people claim to like MK,i hate to see the ones that hate,and everyone else here can bite me for all i care,please true,UMK3 on that shit is a FU$#$@# joke,i mean REAL online sponsored by a LEGIT system genius,like say PS 2 or Nintendo or Xbox .Not some BS that i have to down load where lag kills it.At least with PS 2 or xbox i know where i stand.

When i was saying SF II and MK 2 were nearly the same,i didn't mean the exact game man,i meant the fact that SFII, alot of the move combinations were similiar to MK 2's moves,some were different obviously whether SF is a full clockwise move and a punch to grab 360 with Zan or down to back punch with scorpion to pull off his tpp.In terms of the moves,SF is faster than MK 2 with the corner combos,but thats a good thing,i never based SF.In fact i like SF second to MK,everything else i couldn't care less about.I respect every fighter because of their own popularity,but it doesn't mean i have to like the game or play it.The point is that SFII and MK 2 had a simple lay out,yet did they do well???UMMMM YEAH.

Kdragon heres the difference between guys like you me and the rest of these guys in this thread ok.You see we enjoy Mk regardless of the finished product,do we want improvements yes,do we want a better game with MK 7 yes,will we still play MK even though others that claim to be MK fans bash it to hell ..yes.We live and die by MK yes,these guys don't IMO.

Now for the rest,they claim to be MK fans yet you have read it yourself Dragon,why bash MK so much even though you like it,they call it constructive criticism,ok thats fine but to a point.They act as if its the worst fighter EVER or something and thats BS.They compare the engine to just about every other fighter Tekken,DOA,VF, etc to make a point.But yet this is a MK site,not any of the others.

These guys are "General Fighter fans" if you ask me,NOT die HARD MK fans.I'm not saying a diehard MK fan wouldn't criticize MK if they felt they had to a little,but anyone with open eyes can clearly see that you guys are BASHING MK to death.I mean come on now???LOL.Just about all of you guys with the exception of Fuzz,KDragon,PigHUT, myself and others i'm sure feel that way.Even if they may disagree with me with other stuff,i know they agree with me on this one.I have never ever in my life seen,met or chatted with anyone that bashed a MK game so much yet claimed to like the series.Shit,i even have several friends that hate MK like Tekken,SF,SC etc and they don't even BASH MK like most of these guys do,it's a Fa^ing joke.(NOTE:Versatile seems to know his MK shit,he knows what i mean)

I want to know why again all of you guys with the exception of the people I mentioned,why are you one this site,why aren't you guys on the SC sites,the tekken sites that you claim to have SOOOOOOOOO many people on there that love the game.Yet,you're all on here and why???To bash MK to death so that Ed boon will listen to you and ONLY you so that MK 7 can be your dream game yet nobody elses??BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so I need a dictionary for misspelling one word? You need a grammer book to understand that you need a space after a comma. It doesn't change the fact however that you've never answered any questions anybody has posed you. My observation that you haven't posted anything intelligent isn't an attack but as I just said an observation. You haven't posted anything intelligent. you said in your other post that SF played similar to KOF and MVC and that MK was different. then at the end of the post you contradict yourself by saying SF is similar to MK, make up your mind. the best you can come up with is comparing similar motions that MK stole from SF? you still havent explain how SF plays like KOF or even MVC.

SF did not have a "simple layout", it was way ahead of its time. SF revolutionized the fighting game industry with gameplay elements like crossovers and super combos. MK crossovers were non-existant until UMK3. MK is user-friendly, they basically feed you combos and give u lame commands like hold low kick for 5 seconds for a bicycle kick.

in terms of popularity, gameplay, & depth, SF dominates MK in every category. theres a reason why Super Turbo is still played in tournaments today, it is because the gameplay is deep. nowhere will you see MK2 being played competitively at tournaments. SF was and still is the industry standard and MK is below it, who are you trying to kid with your knowledge of fighting games? you havent even picked up an SF game by the looks of it. your in-depth analysis of a Street Fighter game goes as far as button layout.

i play all types of fighting games to get a feel for what they have to offer, mk is no exception. come to think of it, i have owned a couple of mk games in my lifetime. thats more then enough reason for me to be here. if this site was for "true mk fans" only im pretty sure they wouldve validated my mk loyalty at the door when i was registering.

Cause only an MK fan would care about whether or not the game gets better by pointing out flaws.

When talking about gameplay mechanics, you have to have a breadth of knowledge in many games that are in the same category, otherwise how can your opinion be taken seriously?

It's like if you said action movies sucked after seeing one, but you've never seen more than 2-3 action movies or why people go to the ones that are considered "good." MKD suffers most from the lack of fundamentals such as ground game, frame advantage, etc. but to really know how they contribute, you gotta understand how other 3d fighters work at least at the basic levels.

Video didn't load on this pc I'll try again if I ever go to my apartment and use my pc instead of my girlfriends POS computer. Anyway if it's the video I think it is it's not an infinite because it has a limited number of reps. A lot assumed it was an infinite though. Strider can't have an infinite without the use of a call in.

I know you're not the brightest bulb out there but you do realize that lag would kill UMK3 on the ps2 just as much as it would on the PC right? You do realize that the PC did online before, and better, than consoles did right? You sure do sound smart there. With ps2 and X-box lag exists just as much as it does on the pc get a clue.

Spelling ability and intelligence really aren't linked as odd as it might sound to you wtflegend. Not to mention typo's and spelling mistakes are also two different things. I don't go into these topics because I went through a ton of them after DA came out. I was right there with HDTran, Saty, Verse, TTT, everybody up until Deception came out. But what do I know... Um, New York choked last year in the ALCS vs us when up 0-3. It's consider by most to be the biggest choke job in not just the MLB, but in the history of sports in general. I suggest you worry about your own team(who if the playoffs started now wouldn't even make it) and not talk shit about the Braves.

As a protest, I shall answer theese questions. But please, get back on topic. And stop flmaing each other like if it were your life dependancy.

-start searching the disk for a broken code among many.

2: What two improvements would you give Sub-Zero for Mk7?
-a rewamped ice shaker, and an improved nemesis like Hotaru/N.S.

-a GPS allocator and a mobile cellphone.
