Match 15: Ravyn, no competition there.

Match 16: Virus. Stealth was not bad, but i found something different about Virus. He seemed like a more upclose character, who can disable your opponent, he doesn't have far ranged combat that's why he has his teleport. I would like to see how this concept works in reality, a disabling opponent type of character, i would assume his punches wouldn't be as strong though due to the type of character he is.
Stealth's 5 bombs, i think that's a little too much there..

Alright... some slight problems. Only one of the other five judges has sent me votes for these matches. One judge does have an excuse and has spoken to me about it, and I understand completely, but I've heard nothing at all from any of the other judges, and I'm too busy to run around and remind people they need to take five minutes to read and decide which character(s) are the best.

Given that fact, only TomTaz will be remaining a judge, along with myself of course. Everyone else is removed. I will be looking for two replacement judges... if you'd like to apply, please PM me. There are stipulations though; the two main ones are that you cannot have voted as a regular viewer in any match thus far, and you also cannot have a character entered in the tournament. I may be willing to void that first rule, but I would have to delete all your votes in this topic and I'd rather not do that.

Anyway, that's the situation right now... I apologize to the competitors and those who vote here in advance.

Alright... just keeping you all updated; nothing so far. I'm really at a loss here. I really need you guys to contact me, post here, anything at all. One person has contacted me, but I was told to only select him as a last option... and right now, it's the only option, and even if I did I'd still need another judge anyway.

Wow... talk about a wrench in the works. Seems odd that we'd wait so long to actually get this thing started.. only to have it halted so abruptly. Hope that things work out, would like to see this get going again.

That's what I was doing. We can't go any further with the fan voting alone anymore, because the first round is over. The next round will consist of the round 1 winners... and we can't determine the winners without the judge votes. I have shrunk the judges from 6 to 4, so it will be a best of 5 rather than a best of 7. Predator is now a judge, and I have received his votes. However, I am still awaiting one more set of judge votes. I did get a PM of interest from one person, but I'm waiting for his votes right now.

We're already done with first round?!?! Wow... I didn't realize that, so sorry...

Congratulations to all the winners. Every character (except one) won their match in both the judge voting and the viewer voting. Yomi is the character which picked up all the judge votes despite losing the viewing voting. Stealth/Virus was the only 3-2 match. Gideon, Grave, Anh-Kelehss, Rademos, Fort'e and Ravyn won by total vote shutouts. Grave and Ravyn were also the only two characters to receive every single vote in their matches.

I'll start Round 2 later tonight after Ergo Proxy.
