I don't know weither to think of this update as something significant to MK8 or if it just a joke on Ed's part. Animals doesn't really seem to fit with the rest of Ed's site. I guess I'll go watch the animal channel for more MK8 updates.......

Just my 2 cents but maybe it's a hint to who is comming back. I can't remember who had those animalities but, I think all of those were used.

I dont remember the Gorilla or Elephant being used. But i am sure you are right about the Rihno and the Armadillo.

Kabal was the rhino, Reptile was the monkey, Rain was the elephant, and I can't remember the anteater.

Sheeva's was the scorpion, and they made Scorpion's the anteater for some reason.

Noob Saibot is the anteater... and yeah i just got home not too long ago saw the site updated and first thought was that it could be possibly hinting to some chars that will be returning....

Rhino = Kabal
Anteater = Noob Saibot
Gorilla = Reptile
Elephant = Rain

however maybe this means some thing different or maybe he is just messin with us i dunno.... but at the moment considering the "238,868" thing maybe the "23" does stand for number of new chars and "6" as number of returning chars which include those four along with Scorpion and Sub-Zero??? i guess till there is some thing solid we wont know, so probably wont know any thing for sure till the counter is done.
