Please tell me some NPC females made cameos. I had my fingers crossed for Mileena or Sindel in Kitana's story chapter, but I haven't heard a damn thing.
The only NPC appearance I know about is Quan Chi.... ugh.
People that have the game, tell us what non-playable MK characters made cameos in the story mode.
List them all please.
You can list the DC cameos if you want, but I only care for the MK side.
Thank you so much!!

Just Quan Chi.
Shinnok and Kabal are mentioned by name in the Story Mode, though. Also, in some Arcade Mode endings, Ashrah's Kriss, Fujin, and Argus appear, and Sub-Zero's hints at future appearances by the cyberninjas.

Only thing that could be considered a cameo by a female is in Kitanas ending. It's a still image(excellent art btw) that I think shows Jade standing next to Kitana. That's it though.
Only real cameo at all, in the whole game is Quan Chi, in the MK side of the story mode. He gets a good amount of talk time but he's not playable. Also, there's some robotic-looking guy that I don't recogonize on the DC side of the story mode that Jax punshes out of screen....but that's about it.

Look, story mode isn't "as usual". You don't go through realms or anything like that really. I mean, you do end up different places, but you don't have any control over that. You don't move your character through anything. They...they "take you" through the mode on both sides.
It's basically a string of fights that you go through, all strung together through the cut-scenes. Watch a cut scene, fight, watch a cut-scene, fight...ect..the end.
Each character that you play with goes through about 4 or 5 conflicts//fights, and then they transition you to the next character. Raiden is last on MK side, Superman on DC side until you beat dark kahn at the end.
Yea, that's about right.

Predator's making the Story Mode sound a LOT less entertaining and fun than it actually is. It's true that there's no gameplay between the fights, but the cutscenes in between that tell the story are really good. In most ways, it's actually much better than the previous Konquest modes. Especially since it follows the paths of EVERY character, and not just one main hero a'la Shujinko and Taven.

Oh my god. Boon said that there would be lots of cameos.
Damn this sucks. And of all characters? Quan Chi is freakin boring.
Well, thanks for the info anyway guys.

More exactly, there is no Edenia in the game: even the background of Kitana's render are the waterfalls and buildings of Themiscyra (so much for those who bitched about the Edenian landscape used to represent Kitana: it was Wonder Woman's home).

Dunno, but he had already made them IN the comics. Part of the Brother Eye Sattelite

He's mentioned by Wonder Woman as one of the characters that disappeared.

Will you cut that crap out.
She didn't ask for an opinion, so I didn't give one.

Oh, alright.

It's not an OMAC, it's a security guard.
And maybe you didn't intend it to sound that way, Predator, but your description came off as a slight.

Yeah, those Edenian women are too generic to identify, really. There could have been more than one in green, and none of them looked dark skinned or carried a quarterstaff.

Quan Chi being the only real cameo in this game is extremely lame.
Also, I dont think that is Jade in Kitana's ending, the green woman is carrying a crossbow not a staff.
There should definitley ahve been more cameos in the story modes. Even characters showing up in the abckground would have been better than nothing. The emphasis on magic and stuff also you would have thought the likes of Dr and Zatanna from DC would ahve featured somewhere. Shame.

Well said. I agree.
It's really disappointing to find out that Quan Chi is the only cameo character in the entire game. Others are just mentioned by name. I was hoping that at least the characters from the comics would make an appearance, even if it's just showing them disappear like everyone else.
