I don't mind Jax or Kabal.(Happy with the other confirmed MK characters) But Jax isn't very iconic, unless the whole 'first black guy in MK' is iconic then there isn't anything else.I know Kabal was inspired by or has a comic book feel/look, but if they were going for that, Sindel would have been a better candidate for the comic'ness.

It's a fake, there are things in that article that do not make any sense whatsoever. Besides, if these guys were serious about who's in the game... there would be something posted on the game's official website and we would have been notified by the creators of this site too.

Well, I certainly don't believe anything I see reported on TRMK, and I'm definitely not saying that I believe this report, but the official website wouldn't have this information because it was obtained illicitly.
And the MKO team wouldn't post it because they actually *gasp* confirm stuff before they post it. But they're not exactly quick on the uptake.

I read this a little over an hour ago and was like "Oh wow I should post this!". But read more and thought it was total bullshit. Which I still think it is.

The cast is a little suspicious to me too, but it is from a very reputable source in the MK world. So, if nothing else it's an interesting set of rumors.

See, the problem with my habit of talking smack about everything is eventually, I talk smack about everything.

I'm with the general opinion on this one... fake.

However, that's not to say that we couldn't be wrong too... I mean, look at all the humble pie that had to be eaten after the user who posted the fact that the next MK game was gonna be a crossover with DC was torn apart.

I do hope that Black Canary is included though (I think she'd be a perfect counterpart for Sonya.)

I'd like to be the first one to say:

IF this is true then there will be more characters than we originally were told.

Why? Because Powergirl, Robin, and Black Canary are in it. All of them are characters I could DEFINITELY see being in the game, but not all three of them, especially when there are only 10-11 slots and five of them are gone already (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, GL, Hawkman) and with not a single villain in sight.

A similar line of thought extends to Kabal. I could definitely see him chosen for this game, he was practically the face of MK3, but not when the roster is limited to 10-11 from MK games.

If it's true, then three of the dc characters are girls, which probably means there's three MK girl characters. So yay for Mileena.

well Ed said we could probably guess 90% of the cast right? so maybe the last 10% are characters that we wouldnt expect...like "curveball characters" ie Kabal? just maybe ;)

You guys do realize that TRMK was the site to say MKvsDCU would be a crossover first.

They've given reliable information pretty much 100%. So I don't doubt this.

I can see Kabal in it, he's a good counterpart for the Flash

Black Canary would be a good counterpart for Sindel...but I'd be a little miffed if she were in the game.

Powergirl is just Supergirl from another Earth, so I don't mind it too much - it's like they wanted Supergirl, but decided they needed someone who didn't have "super" in their name.

Robin, I actually like, so I'm not upset at all, in fact, I'm looking forward to Robin.

Jax has actually been in almost all of the MK video games, so I'm not surprised at all.

Kitana and Sonya - DUH!

Yeah, I wish that people like Kung Lao or Catwoman were confirmed before Kabal and Black Canary, but I'll deal - I'm already dealing with whole idea of the game.

I wouldn't be surprised at those MK chars Kabal sounds like he'd be a good match for The Flash. I just hope Ermac is in, Telekinesis would go well against DC

I dont expect any of you guys to remember the group MKX from the 90s, since most of you were in grade school.

Trash MKX who posted this story and did the interview was staff at MKX back in the day...way before anyone knew who MKO was. Thats around the days of mk2 at the arcades.

I for one believe his word..because he has to be in his 30s now, and has no reason to lie to fans like himself.

I agree with MKMileena. If there is indeed three DC female characters, then I would think it would be OBIVIOUS that MILEENA would be in the game as well. But Powergirl? Over Catwoman? Errr. Hmm....

And why is it all of a sudden this list becomes believable, yet the previous list, featuring Mileena, Sindel, Shang Tsung, and Liu Kang was totally pushed aside. Is it just because Sonya and Kitana were mentioned, thus you are easily convinced?

I hate to burst your bubble but Poison Ivy isn't even close to any sort of major character in the DC Universe. Selena Kyle maybe over Robin, but Poison Ivy over Power Girl and/or Robin? That's just crazy talk and no way that would happen.
