I Find It funny that so much people think that so much of batmans enemies are going to be in this game(Bane, freeze two face etc.) I even doubt that The Joker will be in this game because we already have Catwomen. the Dc is a big Universe and there is alot more popular characters

Well people can guess and might be right... but until all the characters has been announced or the game released.... people will have there thoughts.... also this should be discussed in the here

Yeah, it's just speculation on fans part. Some will be right, while others will be wrong with all fighting games with not revealed characters. Fans will guess some right, others will be wrong.
So far, I'm happy with the picks. It would make sense however if Bane or someone like that being the badass he is to make the cut. We'll see.

I've been saying that for awhile now. There are so many characters in the DCU, and Batman's little mythos is only a small (but popular) part of it.
Here's a list I made of many other possible characters they could include from the DCU:
Who's Who in the DCU?

Pretty much dude ^ lol, soooo many DC characters but as everyone knows only the bigtime iconic will be picked. Still, in DC's case that doesn't help given the size of their roster in total lol
Well, it's just like saying if MK went after Marvel it would be like the fans asking for Spiderman's enemies. Batman has a lot of iconic enemies to list and would expect at least one to make it into the game, most likely Joker probably to remember Heath though seeing how this game has made no movie references YET... But anyways, I know that I wouldn't like to see some enemies make an apperance, but yet, let the fans say what they want. Even though I am against some of the enemies they have asked for to make an apperance, still, they have the right to say whatever they want just like one is allowed to oppose those who don't want to see anything.
One can't shut the other up just because they are against what the other want. Though just learn to live that people here want to see these guys to make a show in the game. It's not like you have to agree with what they're saying.

Really, Catwoman has her own comic book series, so I would consider her a standalone heroine/antihero. The same would go with Nightwing, who could have his Robin outfit as an alt.

Robin has his own series too. That's doesn't mean he's not still tethered to the Batman universe. The same could be said for Azrael and Batgirl. Catwoman is still predominantly a Batman-related character and has been since her debut in the 1940s.

but she's much more of a stand alone character now. so you really could consider her simply a supporting batman character. now she has her own adventures and such without any involvment with batman what's so ever. TrueNoob Wrote:

The DC universe might be big... but is it popular? Are the characters *iconic* as Boonarang keeps telling us? Popularity sells.
Okay, let's just put it like this:
Now, I'm sure you all have played a Super Smash Bros. game, or at least seen the gameplay. Ever noticed how every character has an icon to respresent what game he/ she is from? Look at the image to see.
If Batman and Catwoman were to be in Super Smash Bros., they'd both have the same icon. I hope this covers the issue.

well in the comics batman probably has one of the most expansive rogue galleries of anyone in the DC universe.
but besides that, batman i think probably has the most media outside of the comics world. he has more TV shows, cartoons, movies etc. so to appeal to mainstream audiences they'll probably dig into his enemies a little more than others.
but since batman and superman are in and since wonder woman is probably a given...they're the big three of the justice league and the DC universe in general. so i imagine they have some of the same enemies if not MOST of the same ones.

Well, both him and Superman as well.

with all do respect, every batman character is still part of the DC universe therefore its all fair game. If you are arguing this, you should just argue the game to be MIDWAY vs DC UNIVERSE as MK is the same projection form midway as Batman is from DC.
at this point, im hoping for "V"(not likely) and "the joker". if i get the joker, i will be happy regardless as i named my first guitar after him due to my fanhood.
even if all the rest of the characters were batman related, its all dc so stop complaining and trust the team, this game is already better than alot of the mk related games released in the past decade.
i hope the joker is in to *crosses fingers*

Interesting point ^, on a personal note V is way more badass and a fighter then Joker is but I know Joker has a lot of fans as well. V is an actual badass fighter though, the thing I love about him besides his dark world.

Yeah, but DC has the rights to Vertigo now and for some time....so he's a DC character

if V is in this then I might actually buy the game. I loved V for Vendetta.
