3. Nobody likes the iteration and the project fails.

I really don't have my full thoughts on the idea either,I'm not angry at all;just slightly curious.The whole idea of a "crossover" just seems a little vague,I'll just have to see the final version.

I can say that I'm excited,but I guess we'll have to wait until E3 for more coverage.I really do enjoy DC to some extent,but personally,I find their characters to be a bit...boring?They just don't seem to have the thought and depth,as to the Marvel characters.Everyone is entitled to their personal opinion.

bro I'm 20, I know alot of mortal kombat since I was a kid.....and for you guys to think batman in a mortal kombat game is a great idea...just shocks me.....mk is like the only game I would actually still play....but this takes the cake...

Well, I'm guessing about Half of each fanbase buys the game.

So say there is 10 million DC fans and 3 Million MK fans.

That means 7.5 million People buy the game.

That is 2.5 as many games as they usually sell.

But, these aren't exact numbers...this is just a guess...I could be off by several million on both.

Each core fan base is extremely critical of it's universe. Right now, I'm inclined to believe that everybody is skeptical of the project...which is NOT good for business. But is also not the determining factor at this point.

As the seller of houses or cars, you don't need your client base "IFY" at any point in time...You'd want your customers to mindlessly buy from you. You don't want them "thinking about it"..lol

I've been playing since 92 and i don't feel like its a slap in the face. And it wasn't the blood that drew me in, the mk i had was for the nes was blood free, it was the characters. it wasn't until MK2 that i discovered the blood aspect.

The sad truth is, Boon probably doesn't care what us older fans like. He is trying to bring in a new generation of fans.

Expect a complete makeover of MK on every Next-gen console for now on. Boon said every new system, he's wiping the slate clean.

I don't think so at all. Boon expected us all to be shocked and angry at first and then come around when we see how "awesome" the game is. I hope he delivers...
