DC can have conditions...they're older. Bigger than Midway let alone MK.

So no, he should've been able to do whatever he wants with it. That's reasonable....But there's also integrity to consider. Which, DC has a higher prestige than Mortal Kombat.

And then there's "staying true" to the characters and their stories.

You can't kill Superman....not even virtually. I mean, I know he's "died" before in the comics...but morally, you don't kill the guy who saves the world everyday.

As for Batman, he's kicked Supermans ass before(lol), and is the least defeated member of the whole justice league. You can NOT kill Batman either.

Conflict of interest is MK's Fatalities. They'd have to go in order to make this thing come true....and with that, a T rating is inevitably possible.

Allowing Blood is not a real hang up....it just won't lead up to anything really "awe-ing" or gory.
