I agree with this one. Raiden and Kitana are one of the more iconic characters that everyone is expecting and on the DC side, it's the same with GL and WW. Or since the characters are supposed to make an impact, maybe throw in a character in that's not really expected, but really wanted (either on MK or DC).

Lobo could happen, but seeing as many people talk about wanting him in, it could make them hold on to him til right before release. Same with Raiden actually.

But anyway, you see the sensitivity to "when" they might want to confirm a character. Cuz it could make some people by the game...or not.

Man, I haven't posted in a while. Thought this was a good thread to jump into.

My predictions:

MK:
Raiden or Kitana
Quan Chi

DC:
Wonder Woman
Joker or Poison Ivy

I really think they'll give us one hero and one villain from each side. The only one from the above list that I think is in real danger of not making the cut is Quan Chi. That's disappointing because he really is one of the top tier bad guys is MK (not to mention one of my favorite characters ).

Not trying to be mean but Quan Chi is nowhere near iconic enough to make it.

Maybe now's the time to change that.

He's a better choice than most of the lame-ass characters that are considered "iconic."

We already have Shang one sorcerer is enough.

That's why I said he's in danger of not being in the game, because he might not be considered "iconic". But to keep him out just because there's another sorcerer doesn't really make any sense though. This is a fighting game, not an RPG. I just hope he makes it in because of all the characters created after MK3, Quan Chi is definitely one of, if not THE, best characters to be added to the series. He has a distinct look, multiple storylines, and is really fun to play as.

I really can't see Quan making it. I'm pretty sure it was either Shang or Quan. Shang won. Rebut and defend all you want though, I don't care. See sig.

Quan Chi will make it if Shang Tsung has his morphing powers back. I would bet that Quan would make it before Reptile. 3 ninjas would be too much in my opinion.
