We have two well known, well deserving ninjas confirmed already. I'm cool with him being a secret, or just waiting for the game to come out for him to be confirmed.

He should be in though. Most notable secret character ever in MK.

Reptile is an iconic mortal kombat character

less iconic than Liu Kang, or Raiden but an important character to the mortal kombat series. I can definately see him being close to the last character confirmed

I think every character revealed so far was a member of MK1, so I would immagine Reptile has a good chance!

Reptile are way more important then Jax and Kitana.

LOL. Reptile is at best a supporting character in MK's story. Kitana is the princess of edenia and the center of a big portion of the story; Jax is the boss of the special forces, thus another huge part of the story.

Reptile won't be in it imo. They've reached their ninja quota.

Reptile is such a great character and brings a nice sense of those hidden secretive type aspects that MK is so famous for. It would be supid to leave him out but anything could happen.

Reptile WASN'T the Dragon King. His body was used as a husk for the Dragon King to inhabbit. Completely different. Besides, Onaga was just another failed attempt to try to replace Shao Kahn as the main villain; it obviously failed based on Kahn still being emperor of outworld in MKA.

Come on, who cares who are princess of what and who are in what black ops forces, i care about gameplay, and reptile delivers some great playtime!

Everyone knows that, but that was still him inside that monster of a Boss. His body different soul.. it doesnt matter.. he is still playing a big part in the series..

Well A) anyone can be made to deliver good gameplay. B) Reptile in his first playable appearance was possibly the worst MK character ever. The Male ninja's regular moves were terrible, and Reptile also had two terrible projectiles.

They need time to cook up a new look.

His role in the the series has been minor. When his body was inhabited by Onaga he took a twist, but they failed to follow up in the next game. Kitana is the princess of Edenia... that makes her more important than Reptile who crawls around looking for the next master to follow.

Same thing with Jax and Raiden.

Reptile wouldn't even be popular if he wasn't the cool hidden character from MK1.

Disagree there. Reptile was one of the first characters I played with in MK2 and kick the shit outta that game with him. The force ball was one of the best weapons in that game. Made better when they gave 2 speed options in umk3. It's all about timing. Only thing better than Reptile's force ball was Shang Tsung's triple fireball.

I think gameplay wise Reptile delivers, but he has just grown stale in the storyline department. His recent failure at a story revival just killed all interest I had in him, and I would actually wouldn't mind it at all if someone like Sindel, or even Ermac made the cut in over him.

If he's not in full lizard form, he shouldn't be in.
