Batman vs. Kratos: who wins?

The difference between the fight with Hades is that at the end of it, Kratos confronted Hades and battled him mono y mono. With this scenario Batman is hiding all over the place, avoiding confrontation, exhausting Kratos and using stealth/intelligence to outmaneuver the God of War.
I know Kratos is one tough S.O.B. and much smarter than we give him credit for, but this is Batman he's dealing with.

I'll be honest right now, this is hard for me to argue because I'm fans of both.
All I can really say is that both characters have superb fighting skills, deadly weaponry, and both keep a leveled head when faced in extreme combat situations. Also both have their "demons" aswell.

Someone should use the transitive property here... in MKvsDC have Bats fight scorpion and Sub zero and then have the ninjas fight Kratos in MK9, evaluate the fights, quantify kick-assness and then see who would win.
(do not take this seriously... just go w it)

This topic will never go solved unless these two are put on that show Deadliest Warrior!
Intelligence: Batman
Weapons: Kratos
Environment: Batman
Stealth: Batman
Endurance and all other physical abilities: Kratos
Determination: Kratos slightly
Batmans weaknesses: Humanity but the top of the line kinda human
Kratos weaknesses: Rage. But not Scorpion Rage. Kratos actually gets shit done.
If I was to write a comic Batman would find a way to win. But if these two were real beings based off their history in a fight to the death I do not believe Batman could pull it off. He may win a couple battles but Kratos would win the war.
Oh and maybe the Gods killing comparison isn't a good one. After all he never faced the God of intelligence. They were all pretty stupid.

I like God of War and all, but Kratos is easily one of the dumbest characters I've ever played as in a video game.
People say Scorpion lets himself get used and played a lot, but he's a god damn MENSA member next to Kratos.

Lol I'm glad someone said it.
As others have mentioned
Batman is thorough and calculating, well trained in combat and knows how to stick to the shadows and evaluate his opponent.
Kratos on the other hand...Is a rage fuelled brutish idiot(One I liked at one point until he was just made unlikable by the third game)
His only strategy when it comes to combat is to run in with both fists swinging until everything that also feels the need to follow this strategy is dead.
Now I am no Batman fanboy but it's not really that hard to see who would win this.

I love how large this thread is. I guess its true what people say. Shout the names of two random characters to a bunch of nerds and you start a week long debate. Note I mean nerds in a loving way.
Anyways how can Kratos kill what he can't see? Batman is a god damned ninja. I guess it does depend on the enviornment but if they are in Gotham then the fight would look like this.
1. Kratos runs down the street looking for Batman.
2. Batman appears from nowhere and punches Kratos.
3. Batman vanishes into the shadows.
4. Repeat

Ok so I think that we can all come to the consensus that
If the fight was in Gotham, Batman would keep poking at Kratos from the shadows until he was defeated.
If the fight was in an open enviornment such as a field, where Batman had nowhere to hide and had to go toe to toe with Kratos... Kratos would literally rip him apart.
So yes, depending on the scenario Batman and Kratos could win. Everybody wins.

I'm okay with this

eh?
Batman wins.
Wait... listen, ok?:
...Batman beat Superman. That's not enough?
...Batman beat Darkseid...I mean, he killed-him.
Kratos would not beat Superman.
Kratos would not beat Darkseid.
Both Superman & Darkseid....th-they don't really have a cap on the extent of their power......Batman beat them both.
ahehm...
I like Kratos alot...I love playing the GOW series. On the flip side, I don't really like Batman, and have never really followed the character...But seriously, what are we talking about here?

Kratos could easily defeat Superman although he might not be as powerful. Superman's weakness is magic. Kratos' weapons are god given and I would say magical.
Kratos would have a difficult time with Darkseid. He would have to use Radion against him. And Radion doesn't kill instantly. I think Darkseid would win.
Batman and Kratos would be a cool comic battle. And we can't seem to agree who would win. Let's do another though. I think a cooler battle would be Batman vs. Ezio Auditore.

Well, actually, I have come to realize that Batman always wins no matter what, doesn't make sense but yeah..
Alright I want to point out that Batman could only beat Superman with the help of Green Arrow and a well placed Kryptonite arrow in The Dark Knight Returnsseries. Anyone could fucking beat Superman with Kryptonite.
As for Darkseid, there was a similar "magical weakness plot device" where Batman shot Darkseid with a radion bullet.
It's really like this:
Pound for pound Batman loses to Kratos (whose at some sort of demi-god power level) no matter if he's in Gotham City or fucking Sheboygan Wisconsin.
The ONLY way Batman beats Kratos is if for some reason there's some sort "Anti-Kratos Whoopass Plot Spray" laying around the batcave. I suppose you could make a case for Bats if he some how exploited a psychological weakness of Kratos through elusive subterfuge and manipulation (such as using Kratos's rage or immense guilt against him) that somehow magically placed Kratos in a perilous encounter with someone who COULD actually send the Ghost of Sparta back down to Hades.
That's Batman's only shot though because he'd get brutalized if he went toe-to-toe with Kratos.

Yeah but that's a minor battle, he always win the wars.

And that's what is referred to as "moving the goalposts". Remember...Michael Jordan may be considered the greatest professional basketball player of all time, but he still missed shots and the Bulls never got a perfect 82-0 season with him, just as Batman didn't "always win no matter what".

I'd put my money on Batman. Mind over matter, Kratos is durable and he's tough but so is the Bats, and he's got the brains to outsmart Kratos into using his very own strengths against him.

No way. Superman can beat Captain Marvel who is pretty much entirely magic. And Captain Marvel would mop the floor with Kratos. As for Batman, he could beat Kratos if he's able to be Batman in the way we know Batman. A straight up fist fight? Batman loses hard. Which is not surprising. Batman can "beat" Superman under the right conditions but he damn well better not get into a fist fight with him. He's learned that the hard way more than a few times.
