I'm not pissedf off by the MK news. I'm just disappointed. It is not MK8.

Don't worry, this is a side game. The real MK8 will be released next year. Cross overs aren't usually canon, so there's no way the story can be damaged any more right?

I said from the offset that if it were to be a crossover, it couldn't possibly be MK8. If they try and pass this off as MK8, then it's a farce. So for now, I do believe this won't be the real MK8.

Except Capcom vs Marvel was actually a good game. Haha, MK vs DC, that's actually quite funny.

Welp......let this new "count-down" begin...
I'm still remaining quite reserved.....especially by comparison.
I'm a little skeptical, ALOT confused, and a decent amount disappointed that they're still (pretty much) "playing games" at this point. Especially considering such a large fanbase.
But I'm waiting...anxiously waiting now, to see if I'm actually going to pay attention anymore to this game....let alone pay money for the thing when it's released.
We will see....*sigh*.

I havn't gotten on here in a very long time, but I happend to read about this on ign.com, and man am I dissapointed. First of all, this is not a Mortal Kombat game. This game (as far as we know) has no fatalities. Fatalities is what set Mortal Kombat apart from all other fighting games. Without fatalities it is not a real MK game.
I've been waiting for some MK news and I see this. I just wish they would have just done something they know we'll like. Everyone loved MK Shaolin Monks, and there was deffinaly a hint for a sequel at the end, why not make a Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks 2 based on the events in MK4 since thats where the game left off. C'mon Midway....

I feel like Jerry Seinfield......"Who are all these people" I just hope the noobs stay in the MK8 forum.
