Edit: Please don't think that I'm trying to be an internet badass or anything like that. I'm really, really, REALLY not. I am prone to extreme violence when provoked, which is the main reason I'm on strong anti-psychotics. And the main reason I have been institutionalized three times.
Also, the main reason I'm not allowed to own weapons anymore.

Only with my brother. We're buds, but sometimes we can get really pissed off with each other. We usually joke about it later...well, I do. He just kinda stares daggers at me the rest of the day.

A few. I'll tell you about one.

One time in high school some kid was running around the woodshop being a complete ass. I was already in a bad mood when he jabbed me in the side with a wooden wedge. I told him to fuck off, and he tried it again. I caught his arm in mid jab and pulled him forward, kneeing him in the face. He tried to punch me in the balls when he was down and I blocked it and punched him in the gut. The shop teacher broke it up before much else happened. Then he told me to come to the back of the shop for a second round. I declined, knowing full well he had a ball ping hammer and a few buddies back there.

I've only been in one. The guy had been talkin shit, we met after school. I got myself psyched up, started singing the "Mortal Kombat" theme by the immortals....I woke up a couple hours later.

Ive been in a fair bit, never really start them though, usually when theres some dick at a party picking on people I sorta start hoping he does it to me. but in the last 5years since everyone started carrying weapons im more reserved

I have lost every boxing match I have ever been in. But when the gloves are off I'm a different person.

6th grade I got in three fight in the same day. First fight was in the cafeteria, and the class pretty boy cut in line. It pissed me off cuz they were running out of taquitos. I asked him several times to get behind me and he refused and got in my face. I pushed him to the wall and held him there. He said "this don't hurt" and I told him I wasn't trying to hurt him but I wanted him to take his proper spot. He did and I turned my back and took a knee to the spine. I went down but got up quick with an mk style uppercut. He was crying and somehow none of the teachers found out. We actually became friends after that. People end up respecting someone who refuses to take shit.

An hour later my testosterone was still high and someone elbowed me in class. Left hook and it was over. But It was in front of the teacher but she let it go because she liked me.

Last class of the day the biggest nerd in school plus a 200 lb kid with no brains decided to pick on me. I just punched the big kid a couple times and speared the nerd into the wall. No teacher, no tattle tales and no problems. Why do people choose to pick on the quiet kid?

I have never been in a true fist fight because I have never been hit with a fist. I've gotten lucky enough to dodge or block which I never was able to do in boxing. I'm sure it won't always come that easy but I don't try and be Billy Badass everywhere I go. I just won't refuse to turn the other cheek.

I've been in a bunch of little skirmishes growing up, but nothing remotely serious. Things always get pulled apart or turn into like a wrestling match and just kinda awkwardly calm down. The last time I was full on punched in the face was about a year ago and I was tryin to break up a pretty brutal fight between two former friends and tried to get between them. My buddy got me right in the jaw mid sentence, it didn't bother me then cuz I was drunk and full of adrenaline i guess, but the next couple days my jaw fuckin ached non stop. I'm glad I was pretty shitfaced at the time otherwise it woulda hurt a lot worse, lol.

Parts of historical swordfighting requires hand to hand combat and wrestling. So yes, weekly. Actual brawling? Before I took up the blade, a good few times.

I actually had a serious one where I received cerebral trauma for a chair hitting my head during a fall. Basic weak concussion, though for some reason the others guy thumb faced the opposing way...

Fighting is wrong. There is NEVER a justification.

I did my best to explain myself. I am not proud or happy about what I have done in my life. I am only able to look back upon it. Granted, at the time I was an idiot teenager, but even recently I was provoked into extreme violence by only the slightest prodding. I have rage triggers. They trigger rage. When I am enraged, nothing can stop me, not even me. One of my rage triggers is people taking something from me without asking. Don't do it. I always tell people this when they first meet me.

I take anti-psychotics to try and curb it. They work, somewhat.
It has nothing to do with mental maturity and everything to do with a mental disorder. You have no idea how miserable it is living like this.
