Oh look at this thread... I'm going to have some fun. Please do, join me...
Black guy here, white, now ex fiance...mixed kids etc. "Black Irish" mix, for the sake of conversation anyway. That thing went on for 12yrs and, the shit we went through...wowee.
Anyway, I wanna keep it 100% real with you before I start this thing. lol The following is not a joke. In fact, it is information I didn't want to gain, but despite that I did, during my 12yr relationship with that^ white woman. Okay...we ready?
-- Black women are looking at you like that out of pure jealousy. Understand jealousy as a term essentially means "the fear of loss of something you once had some kind of control over." The notion you should be aware of, is that they feel "you have stolen from them." I'm black, I've heard it a gazillion times pertaining to my own relation-shit, THAT'S what it is. Now, the variations in that enormous pool of stupidity (lol), comes in based on residual subtleties (yes, I said residual subtleties) from the ages of even further stupidity. I.E., the age of racism and, to push that further back even...slavery.
(Is it already sounding ridiculous? If not, I'm not writing this the right way)
Ok so, the core of the issue is that black people have been treated so badly that, once one of "our good men" gets to a position of....we'll call it "success" (any semblance of success) and on his way, if he does not also "take a black woman with him" and pro-create within that successful situation..... therefor producing more successful black people.....he is now labeled a "sell out" (in other words, an "uncle tom"). OR of course... "the White/Asian girl stole him from us." Right?
(I could NOT make this shit up in my sleep, I swear to you...)
SO... when you are getting looks of disdain from black women with your "black" boyfriend, they don't have a problem with you "soiling the gene pool" or anything, no. Some black guys, like any piece of shit in any race, are pieces of shit, and noone would give a big fat rats ass if you dated any of them. However, some black guys, like any successful person from any race... some of them are symbols of success. So, when they see you and your boyfriend out and you look like a successful couple? You have indiscriminately "stolen" an opportunity for black people to...idk, advance... as a race? Y'stole one piece of a mutli-faceted master plan, so to speak.
The basic point is, you are intervening in a process, that has taken longer than you probably realize, to create the symbol of success that your boyfriend is. The success that he appears to be, the success that he is able to be because of the sacrifices of so many black people before him.... the reasons why he is attractive to you while you are walking next to him now, IS the opportunity you "stole" from a black woman.
(I didn't say it would be easy Neo, I just said it would be the truth...)
It's true..it's true. It is possessive in that way. He probably doesn't even realize that's what he represents. And if he's mixed...what about his black parent, right? Sooo... you see, it is way waaay waaaaaay bigger than you. In that instance, you are simply an innocent person who just fucked up a lot of work that got him to be who he is while you're dating him. lol
-- At the core, though they may not even understand the core reason now because it's been regurgitated so many times over, that's what the looks that you are getting are about. If you talk to their parents, or especially their grandparents (some really old black person[s]), they'll tell you this same thing in their own, different words.
Why do you think alot of black people are please about only the mere existence of an all black family inhabiting the white house? It's because it's not only a great symbol of black people in power, but it also represents all of "our" ideal attributes of a successful black family. And the whole world can see it.
And naturally, y'can't have that result if "you" are going around "stealing all the good ones"....right?

Particularly, you'll hear the women comedians say a phrase something like that...
Finally now, of course I don't subscribe to that ideology. But you can bet your ass I understand it fully now. It's just what I was subject to learning about in my 12yr long interracial relationship.
A look into the past:
No actually, alot of them are just hurt in some of the same variations of ways as other raced women. They just deal with that energy differently.
For instance, you'll have the stereotype that black men steal, and are always late, uuhmm... there's one that says black men like to fight or shoot you first and ask questions later...etc.
On the other hand, black women will carry some of those same stereotypes but in addition, they'll also have stereotypes like; they're loud, argumentative, and overall obnoxious.... they'll tear up your stuff, fuck with your car first etc.
For this, you must understand that black culture is extremely expressive, on a regular basis, to begin with. For instance, we're born into fighting for things....so that's what we learn first. How to fight and protect ourselves.
Then there's the inadequacies that are either inherent because of who we know or what we do with the cards that were dealt to us or, because the majority race, heaped inadequacies on us a long time ago that we still have to get rid of today, before we can start making any progress in today's world. lol We learn how to fight first is all I'm saying. That's still happening. Black women are not different from black men in that instance.
Another instance is when you hear black guys talking about not having a Father figure around. Well, while you and him may be having that conversation, we seldom look behind us and recognize his sister. Who is dealing with the same problem. Only, her resolve will come from a life of growing up looking for that father type figure in one of her relationships when she gets older.
So really, it takes tougher skin, which essentially means tolerance, alot of patience, knowledge about her "stuff", and wisdom about her ""stuff" to be able to enjoy black women for who they really are.
Because at the core, they're all pretty much the same, and very different at the same time.
