Before any news was released, I figured Silver Surfer was in, but then we started seeing a lot of Fantastic Four characters and I kinda thought they were booked up on the series. Guess not.

I have no opinion on the character himself. Don't know anything about the Silver Surfer beyond that he's crazy powerful and he worked for Galactus.

I am pleased Thor is in this game. Would love them to bring back Rogue. Also Beast or Polaris would be awesome for me personally but dont really see it happening. Hsein-Ko would be a good addition too IMO, also Scarlet Witch..

The Scarlet Witch would make an amazing character!!!

I just hope they have a character that will have crazy and different moves, like Spiral did. I liked her sword dances, teleports and buffer spells.

On Capcom ́s side I would like to see Aulbath, Donovan and Vega.

I definitely wouldn't mind Leo, but I prefer Kenji. Although, he's kind of a carbon-copy of Ryu. So, he'd be just another Shoto.

The two I would cross off immediately would be Mike Haggar and Bison (though recentl updates make Bison a little more likely). At least there better not be anymore SF characters; I already own Street Fighter; I want a general Capcom game. Even among Capcom fans, many aren't fond of Mike Haggar.

For anything from Red Earth to make the cut, Rival Schools, Bionic Commando, and Power Stone would have to be brushed aside, and I don't see that happening.

Viewtiful Joe has a very good chance (I'd say 60/40), but I'm not sure how well he would fit into the MvsC3 chaos. He seemed like one of those characters who was built with the Tatsunoko system in mind. Could be wrong, though. I wouldn't mind seeing him at all.

Agree 100% on Mega Man. Given Zero's popularity and awesomeness, it would be tragic if he wasn't in.

Wesker is probably in as well. Would rather have Leon, but meh.

Arthur has a very good chance. Based off other games, the demand for him is clear.

BTW, I believe Frank West was already semi-confirmed from the Silhouettes, wasn't he?

oh man I completely forgot about the silhouettes. Wesker was basically confirmed in one of the Eventhubs updates along with one of the SF villains (gotta be Bison over Akuma.) The game is running on an engine very similar to TvC (which is awesome, go buy it if you haven't.) So VJ would probably fit in just fine

Also since no Capcom fighter feels complete without a grappler and Gief/Alex probably won't be in it, why not Mike Haggar? Its not like he's totally obscure, he has fans. I'd personally rather have Gief over him, but I think Capcom will only add three SF characters max.

I don't know which rumor list you saw, but it was most likely not the one I've seen. Every character so far that's been confirmed was on the "leaked" list.

It's been confirmed the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Emma Frost, Gene from God Hand, Ghost Rider, Punisher, Amingo, Phoenix Wright, and characters from Rival Schools & Power Stone will not be in.

The leaked roster list I saw had Emma Frost and Mr. Fantastic on it, so I think it's safe to safe it was BS.

The fact his likeness was removed from the US version of Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter due to conflicts involving licensing his character and likeness should pretty much lend evidence to my statement.

Regarding cyclops... I am honestly suprised he has a fan base!

What I love about the Capcom Vs. rosters is that they will have a couple of currently hot characters to satisfy fan hunger, but then they will come up w characters no one has ever thought of and totally rock them. For example, I think Son Son was one of the most random but funnest characters to play w/. Marvel-wise it was cool they had Marrow for example... a bit of a WTF character. Now w Super Skrull... beyond being able to use one spot to represent all 4 of the FF powers, its pretty cool a character like that shows up and kind of reminds you there is more than Deadpool Storm and Wolverine, and they can rock a fighting game!

I'm kinda hoping that Omega Red makes it; He's not really staple, but I'd enjoy his appearance.

I'm also crossing fingers for Black Panther : )

How come they don't put Blade (Daywalker) in it, he's a Comic Hero and would fit well against the DarkStalkers roster.
