Trish who?

i'm excited to see how the new characters stack up against the older ones and what changes they have made to my favorites.
chun li looks like a beast from what iv'e seen. skrull looks kinda lame. trish will most likely be good with the gun and electric attacks.
doctor doom looks somewhat improved over his mvsc2 counterpart but seems abit slower.

my various teams will be
chun li,ryu,chris redfield.
morrigan,felicia,trish.
deadpool,dante,iron man.
hulk,wolverine,doctor doom.

thats a total of 14 characters confirmed so far, and they plan on going 30+ characters so we need the other 16 characters or more confirmed. hope this helps.

Supposedly, she's from Devil May Cry.

She was sent to kill Dante in the first DMC but ended up falling for him. She helps him out with stuff after that

Well Trish was also in DMC4 as well. Also liking how Deadpool breaks the fourth wall and Iron Man finally has a new super attack.

I suspected that Amaterasu would be playable.

so far that's a toatal of 16 characters confiremed so far. need 14+ or more characters confirmed to have an entire roster. also i will be watching comic con on july 24th and will update the list. if this helps.

You forgot Dormamu. Yes, technically he's not playable, but he seems to be the big boss they showed off in an earlier trailer.

Is it just me...or am I the only one so excited about the stages?
I'm absolutely loving the Resident Evil stage with the Tyrant in the middle and a bunch of Lickers(β?) from the left and right.

I wish they would throw in some L. Raptor in there as well. Would love to tear it up with him. Oh and please give me Mega Man and Frank West in there as well!

I finally remembered why I don't like the Marvel vs Capcom series. I cant get over how annoying the voice overs, crazy visuals, and insane speed of the game is. It's just a mess.

As Kahnwarrior said, she's from Devil May Cry. The Capcom panel said they wanted her for sex appeal purposes, but we have so much of that already. I'm still kinda irked that the bombshell characters are monopolizing the Dark Stalkers portion of the roster. Morrigan is a must, but I could have done without Felicia.

Still hopeful for B.B. Hood, but it would be nice to see a Dark Stalker who has never been in a crossover.

Psylocke was top tier in the last game, right? I'm sure she's in. Venom, although I loved him in MvsC, has little chance of a return, IMO.

I think he'll be replaced with Carnage.

I'd like to see Carnage, but it just wouldn't be the same if you couldn't pick Venom/Spiderman along side him.

I'm figuring they're about 50/50 to get in.
I mean, you can guess the obvious characters like Spider-Man and Wolverine and why they're in. And then...let's face it, the only reason most people even know Shuma-Gorath or even Blackheart is because of Marvel vs. Capcom.

Psylocke's a well liked character and I've heard she's actually pretty popular in Japan...which is one of the reasons Capcom would bring her back a lot. I don't follow the tier lists, but if she was top tier and that's a factor...then all the better.

As for Venom, I figure he has a decent shot. He's very popular and well known. But I could also see them leaving him out. I just hope if they include him it's the Eddie Brock Venom and not Mac Gargan (or at least, they have an alternate costume or something; just throw Brock fans a bone).

I won't be surprised if they're left out....but I'll be thrilled if they get in. Or at least make them downloadable.
