Yeah I guess, but Spider-Man is almost a given based off his popularity and him being one of Marvel's top comic characters.

It depends on if the license covers him, as Activision holds the rights to specific Spider-Man games.

Anything over 30 makes me worried. MvC2 is arguably...no, wait...it really *is* the most broken fighter of all time (and that's saying a lot from an MK fan). Sentinel/Cable/Storm/Magneto...no, don't do that shit again.

Keep the cast limited, and focus on the gameplay so you don't wreck it with infinites and glitches like you did last time, Capcom. The more characters you throw in, the more busted it's likely to become...

ShingoEX...totally agree with you. Plus I'm hoping that they'll limit the amount of SF, X-Men, Darkstalkers, & Mega Man characters this time around. No more than Ryu & Chun-Li for SF, no more than Felicia & Morrigan for Darkstalkers, No more than Storm, Wolverine, & Magneto (& another X-Men character or two), & no more than Mega Man & possibly Roll. There are PLENTY of Marvel & Capcom characters out there other than those four franchises that they can have in.

Basically, go back to the way that MvC 1 was, as they only had Ryu, Chun-Li, Zangief, Gambit, Wolverine, Mega Man, Roll, & Morrigan alone. Plus I'd say that we won't be seeing more than like, 34 characters at the most. :)

Well, there was Capcom Vs. SNK Pro, which was kind of a "super" version, tweaking the game a bit and adding 2 characters. I don't know if I'd count CVS2 EO, though.

That's cuz DLC wasn't possible when those games were released. The additional content in SSTIV was originally meant to be DLC.

Not sure about a super version, but I'm sure a major game like this will have DLC available.

Gonna disagree. There ought to be at least 3 characters from Darkstalkers, and frankly, Felicia shouldn't be one of them. I've always thought most of her popularity came from her tits anyway. Perhaps the same could be said of Morrigan, but at least she's on of the central DkSt characters. B. Hood and Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei would have been better choices.

As for Roll, going to have disagree again. Considering the character wealth of the Mega Man universe(s), including Roll was a bit of an insult.

I do agree with you about Roll being a awful choice (in which she was nothing but a watered down Mega Man clone in MvC 1 & 2). I doubt that she'll make an appearance in this one, but considering her popularity, I don't know.

If they're going to bring back Roll, at least have the Roll from TvC. I heard that she was a lot better in that one.
