Signature 8/10, thats one of my favorite ways in making a background.

But may i try a tip, hide the renders and the Tomb raider text, and leave the background go to layer-new layer then to image-apply image and coppy that layer use a ripple or a blur or something of your choice, and then play with the opacity and layer types......Overlay screen Etc.

Then when you like the background drag the render layers and text layers back to the top and unhide them......thats just how i would improve it....but its a great signature none the less.

Yeah the text is only there because i made it myself and wanted to put it on something :D.

For the above, the avatar is better than the common eye can see i give it a 7, and the signature i give a 8.5 its the type of signature that people dont give enough credit for.

Pred honestly, i dont like this one, it looks like it has the intention of showing a face, but i cant see anything but hands and lightning, i like to properly know what Im looking at.

The Text is great though, i like that which is why your Avatar gets the 10.

P.S. i know that there actualy isnt supposed to be a face in there.
