I was thinking about how their might be 1 or 2 more new styles revealed so i was thinking what if someone used a meteor hammer.This could work really well and would be a great character for those players who go for range.

Is it me or does Elysium look an awful lot like Sophitia? Kilik's look is rather awesome, I wonder if there's a reason for his new armour. :P

I am very happy to see Kilik, my #1 SC character, make a return. I'm disappointed with his design though. What's up with the rooster look? SC4 design was far superior imo.

It is confirmed that Setsuka is not returning, but her fighting style is being used by a different character. Patroklos, to be exact. He picks up her style at some point in the story mode apparently, and there are videos to prove it. It looks kind of silly without the umbrella and well... Setsuka. Disappointed.

There's about a 50% chance that Kilik and Elysium don't have their own fighting styles, but are mimic characters who fight using all styles of their gender. This isn't confirmed as far as I know, but most people seem to think it's true.

By the way, that's the whole roster. Probably won't be any more character reveals, since every slot is accounted for. That means no Talim or Rock.

Apparently, Elysium is not Sophitia, but the massive chested woman has a massive resemblance. She can be seen in that recent story mode trailer that's out as well..

If Kilik and Maxi weren't here, then it'd be even better, but this game still has the best roster for me.

Unfortunately, my interest in the series continues to drop. Never touched SCIV and it seems like the same is going to happen with SCV.

If namco just stuck those two in there to please fans that were disappointed that they weren't in and just gave them all the styles for there gender would be the first time they had 3 characters that used many styles instead of one..

I can see kilik learning all the styles since edgemaster was his teacher and take over if they kill edgemaster, but who knows what they'll do.

Elysium looks like Sophitia. Her son uses Setsuka's style? That's dumb.

And no Talim? That is just criminal.

Or rather it's criminal that it took this long to get rid of her.

Only person of intrigue around for me is Raphael to be honest, everyone else is just okay.

Ivy' and Astaraoth are cool.

No Zasalamel, Yun Seong, Talim, or Seong Mina, those were the people I used...I wasn't that into the series at this point anyway, this will be a late purchase for me, if that.

I would have thought talim would have came back. she was the only filipino fighting game character i ever heard of and i liked zasalamel's scyth style. hopefully they will have their styles available to use in character creation.

And Talim was so young in the earlier games, so having her in this game as an adult would have been cool. Zasalamel have already shown to be immortal, so he would be a nice addition and without showing any signs of aging, like with Ivy.

I at least hope their fighting styles will be available in the game so we can make them in the create a character mode.

Talim is great. What do you have against her?

i miss spawn. he's my most fav guest character besides kratos in the sc games.

it's sad to hear about talim. i would use talim against taki players and play as taki against talim players. i always found those 2 were a great match up. both rely on get in and out stratagy.

wonder how taki's sucessor will play out in the story mode. will she have a feud with mitsirugi.

I just thought it was so weird to have a bland tonfa midget going toe to toe with with the freak show that makes up 90% of the cast. I'm attracted to Soul Calibur not just because of the gameplay, but also because it's batshit insane. Talim was, to me, this piece that never fit in the SC puzzle.

Looks like Project Soul took page from MK - they created they own Chameleon and Khameleon. Seemingly no one have told them that these guys not exactly pinnacle of creativity.

I dissapointed that Zas and Talim are not in this game - they both were fairly unique and it would be better if they put them in the game rather than mimic duo.

In general this whole "17 years leap" was major blunder. They could've recreate roster without timeskip and looking at roster now it really - it looks like timeskip didn't serve anything.
