The Counter-Strike series happens to have many publishers, one of them being Namco.

In fact, it was Counter-Strike Neo to be the first CS game published by Namco; the game itself being strictly released in Japan.

It would not surprise me if Namco was to work with Valve once again, and seeing as the site posted in this thread is in Japanese, along with the initials CS appearing in the site's URL, I have good reason to believe the site is meant for Counter-Strike.

I want to see Seung Mi-Na, Cassandra, and Taki Setsuka.

I hear you. I don't like him much either. His look is... well we don't have to discuss it. However I am very disappointed that he has Sophitia's weapons. Does every character that's related to her have to share her fighting style? I mean it is possible that he could be Sophitia's son with his own fighting style. They did the same thing with Cassandra (who, I'll admit, I liked a bit better than Sophitia.) It's like they think that if these characters didn't share her weapons there's no possible way us moron fans could know that they're supposed to be related to her.

Anyway, I've just seen the first character of SC5 that I'm not likely to play.

If this is in fact the case, hopefully Amy, Tira, and Talim would make it, due to their young ages.

I just want Voldo and Isabella Valentine to make it, really. With those two, I'll be good.

Actually, Amy might not have aged at all... isn't she a vampire like Raphael? I was never really clear on that. I'd be interested to see Talim though.

Probably because his design isn't all that great... and couple that with the fact that it's clear he's going to be yet another copy of Sophitia... it makes for a less than impressive start for a new character (especially one who's meant to be the main character of this installment.) There's no reason he couldn't be both Sophitia's son AND have a bit of individuality. Now it's very true that we've not really seen him in action yet, but really... it's not THAT big a conclusion to jump to when looking at him and his weapons. Right now I'm only skeptical.. I'll be fair and reserve full judgment until I've seen him fight.

I happen to have an affinity for Bobcats and that buttplug is using their flayed faces as shoulder pads.

Don't forget that Namco made a similar move when they moved Tekken forward a while back, and that didn't seem to make a difference to anyone. As far as the characters go, mm. We'll have to see. Certain characters probably will not age at all, Cervantes, Amy, Raphael (being vampires), Astaroth... probably will not look much different due to their conditions.

It's a more interesting premise than Mortal Kombat's, so kudos to them on that.

I hope the cast isn't all like 40 or 50.

I do not want to see this again.

I just wanted to see how old some characters are now, and yes, they have gotten much older. Even Talim, the youngest (via revealed ages) of them all, is in her thirties.

In all honesty, the only character who's heightened age doesn't bother me is Mitsurugi. Why? I have no idea. Seriously. lol

Its going to be interesting how some of the characters have aged, but that means voldo is going to be 67. he is the oldest character in the game isn't he?

Technically, no.

Cervantes was born before Voldo, but has stopped aging long ago.

Though not having a known age, it is stated that Nightmare has existed since ancient times, long before Voldo was born.

I can say, though, that Voldo is indeed one of the oldest of characters.



I just had a thought, of all the previous characters, the only one that would be young in this game is Ashlotte, who would be, ironically, 17.

Some of the female characters are concerning, but I'm sure they'll find a way around it somehow. Ivy's SCIV ending sort of hints at something different for her, for example. Talim, Tira and Hilde would be fine in early-mid thirties, I think.
