I like Assassin's Creed, I like Ezio, and he does seem to fit into the timeline and world of SC... Not bad for a guest character. It is totally plausible in every single aspect, not like Link, Spawn, Heihachi, Darth Vader, the Apprentice and Yoda... not to mention Kratos. Neither of them fit into SC the way Ezio does.

This is actually a guest character I find to be a valid choice.

Leixia and Natsu... I much rather prefer the original characters they replaced. They both look horrible and I hope there will be an alternate skin for them with Taki and Xianghua.

Patroklos and Pyrrha... Well, I like Patroklos' lynx theme, but that's about it. Sophitia will be missed...

Zwei looks cool, and I like his werewolf/crescent moon theme, not to mention he looks hot. ;P Interesting sword as well.
Viola could possibly be an amnesiac Amy - they look quite alike, both with the hair- and the dress-style. The orb and claw look quite cool too.

Voldo... I really don't like his outfit. He looks silly... well, he's always looked silly, but the S/M bondage theme fit him... this fuzzy bee/spider theme doesn't.

Ivy looks incredible! And somewhat decent as well! Who would have thought?! But yeah, this is one of her coolest appearances in my opinion and I am glad to have her return. Definately one of my favourite characters with one of the coolest weapons of all time.

Nightmare looks awesome as well. I loved his SC2 appearance with the long red ponytail and the winged helmet. But Soul Edge looks rather boring though. Too bad.

Siegfried looks cool too, also one of my favourite characters, albeit a little boring compared to his past looks... but then again, he's an ordinary knight now, not a wielder of the Soul Calibur anymore.

I am rather indifferent about Maxi, Mitsurugi, Astaroth and Hilde. They look cool though.

Tira... I liked her SC4 outfit alot better. However, I am glad she's back. Always enjoyed playing as her. ^^

And Raphael, my favourite of the crowd... Though I loved his SC4 outfit the most of all his outfits, I think this new look is quite cool as well. It's like his traveling outfit, while the SC4 outfit is more of a nobleman's outfit. The hat looks a bit boring though, it should have had a golden trim or something, but other than that, he looks great! ^^

That Ezio trailer was awesome. None of that Star Wars characters looking onmiously at the cast of lesser mortals. Ezio kicking arse and taking on Big Bad.

Loving Raph and Nightmare's looks. Musketeer Kruger and Back to basics.

I like how Mitsurugi isn't weighed down by his old, rusted armor. Sometimes, simpler clothes are cooler (especially the oni motif on his sleeve).

I'm starting to like Leixia, but her skinny legs should be fixed. It looks like she's just bone near her foot.

My favorite new character hands down has to be Viola.

Dampierre is in it man. I love that dude so much. He reminds me of a Regal Joker.

Ezio is a sensible choice for a guest, he has the era, costume, and fighting style to fit in and it doesn't feel forced. It also helps that I like Ezio, yeah!

I'm glad Raphael has been confirmed, I like him a lot and he always has glorious costumes.

Dampier looks so cool and amusing, but I don't plan on pre-ordering as I'm not sure I'll have the money, I presume he'll be future DLC if you don't get him right off the bat.

I don't like how Ezio has all of these weapons, it reminds me of how Kratos had all of these weapons. Kind of reminds me of how Link had the bomb and arrow along with his sword. Well, I'm glad that the general community seems to be satisfied with the guest character for once. That's refreshing.

I'm worried about him being unbalanced, like some of the previous guest characters. I agree on the weapon amount, I would have just given him 2-3, he has like 6 at present.

Still waiting for Yoshi...
