Thanks for the welcome everyone, I'm not familiar with the layout design yet, so that's why I didn't know what to look for, but thanks. lol. I'm gettin' there. But now I got a question if anyone else comes in here, I have my sig code in, and my icon, but I have the default icon and no signature, did I get 'shadow banned' or something?

Be grateful of this thread. I remeber back in the day, where we had to walk 15 miles in the snow to introduce ourselves, and there were orange fields as far as the eye can see...............Welcome to MKO!

If you're a graphics person, invest a little time in the links in my sig specifically, and generally in the Com Faq. Read the rules in all...trust me they'll save you alot of heart-ache.

The general rule of thumb here are as follows:

1. 400x150 is the biggest you can reasonably have for a signature. You don't have to use that size.

2. 75x75 is the biggest you can reasonably have for an avatar

3. The total KB limit for your account is 120kb. This includes both your avy and whatever pictures you have in your sig combined(signature, userbars, banners ect). If you go over the kb amount.....then you get shadow banned, and it's not always immediate. In this case, just speak(pm them) with someone who is of Portal Guard Rank or higher and get it taken care of from there.

Right click>>Properties>>Image Size

To check the kbs on any picture.

For your particular problem there, it sounds like you may have the HtmL code in the box where your avatar URL goes. If this is true, take off the "code" and just use the URL of the image in the "Change Icon" space.

Usually this is how you would make the picture show up anywhere else:

[img src=PUT URL OF PICTURE HERE]

change the "[ ]" to "< >"

In your settings for your avatar, just use the URL. Anywhere else, use the code I just gave you and it should work.

In the bigger box, your signature space, use that^^ code for pictures you want to have show up and everything should be fine.

Did you put your sig in this format:

If not, then thats all. if you did, then there is a good chance that you may have exceeded the size limit for your sig.
