This new forum is a safe haven for new users to post without the intimidation of the General Discussion forum's normal flow. The only types of threads that should be posted here are by users who can be considered "new", which isn't determined definitely by any definition. You are expected to know whether or not you are truly new to the site, and if you are not a moderator will close your thread. Otherwise, you may welcome the new users by responding to their threads and greeting them. It was decided that since so many forums across the internet seem to use this type of forum with diligence, that we too would make this necessary addition.
