Does anyone remember MKS? He went by a couple of different usernames.

I joined before MK:DA was announced and we thought the series was over. The excitement when we found out they actually were working on Mortal Kombat 5 and the teaser shots they released have yet to be matched!

I am happy to see that many of you have been on this site around the same time I joined. I honestly thought I was one of the lone veterans.
But I find it peculiar that I don't remember those who say they have been on this site since 2004 - 2005. Then again, it could be because I was mainly on the General Discussion forum back then.

I'm pretty sure I joined back in 2006 maybe early 2007? Then I changed my username last year in 2011.

I usually focused on the games that were released and the Fan Submission section. It is only recently I have focused on the General section, but that's mostly because the rest of this site is more or less dead. The activity on here at this moment has plunged massively, but that's because all the MK hype of the newest game has worn off. When the next MK is announced, then this place will be full of people once more.

I joined MKO in February of 2004. This was the first forum I joined, and the only one I'm still active at. I've endured various computer problems, and what not, that've kept me away for weeks-months at a time. My absence during 2011 was the most devastating yet. Now, I'm right back where I started, working off someone elses' computer.
It's been a good ride. Interesting conversations, trends, and debates. Teaching, informing and learning myself. The rise, and fall of the spriting community. Technical difficulties are always frustrating, and disheartening.
I miss the good old days, maybe I'm just getting old. So many users have come n gone or changed their names. I didn't interact with all of you, but various usernames were familiar staples of this site for years. Things change, people change, and drama erupts. Thank you all for the interesting comradery.

Ah yes, I do remember seeing your username back in the old days.
It seems as though we're many from the 2004 crop, I got here around October and I've have some times with a lot fewer posts that others, like this one... I can barely read the drive by without having blue shit pop-up every fucking page.

LMAO!!!!!!
We, uh, aren't allowed to talk about my arrival. It brought many a bad fortune upon this place. So for those who do not remember MKOA, I have always been here, do not look further back, do not venture into the archives, you risk undoing the very fibers of this site and reigniting Armageddon itself.

I remember him, heck, I have him on Facebook! Wish he'd lurk more, though.
I've been here since October 2003. I remember you.
I think 2008.
I was a lurker forever, but then I started posting more.
I've sort of reverted back to lurker.
I can't remember if I always had this username, but I didn't become active here for a while after I first started coming, because I didn't use any forums much.
After I had to start using them for film projects and whatnot, I started coming here more often to kill some time.

I remember way back when.
The first time I really noticed you is when you posted a thread about Geeks Underground. I still miss that show. It was funny.

lmao, yeah, that shit was fun. It's too bad they (the directors) will never finish season one, or make the second season... The sad part was that the last few unfinished episodes were the most awesome, and the plans they had for season two would've been great and built up so much from the first season...
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Episode 6: MAL malfunctions and takes over the house.
Episode 7: Neil reconciles with the girl he dated in episode 5.
Episode 8: Trevor faces off against bullies and winds up dating one of them.
Season 2: Andy and Nikki break-up, Neil moves out, Dennis talks more and does interesting things, and a huge fight breaks out when the bullies return.

It's funny, the guy who did MAL's voice paid me a visit when he was in town for his comedy show tour, and we hung out and we had shared some good memories... Meh, there'll be other web shows for us someday.

Earliest posts look like early 2006. I know I lurked around for a very long time previous to actually getting an account though. Year or two at least because I remember not actually having a computer to get on and actually post. Pretty sure I started coming to MKO in 2003. Everytime one of these threads gets going I immediately remember that my son was 1-2yrs old at the time.
Yea, it's been quite a while.

Wow, had no idea you were still on the site! How have you been?
Not sure if you remember but you actually lended me a helping hand in my unfinished Xmen vs MK tournament. You and I had worked together to compile the initial batch of matches. Its too bad I never came back to the site to finish the tournament.
But I hope you are doing well. Its nice to see some familiar faces.
