I love Chris Nolan and his Batman movies but I'm not that hyped for the movie. I'm sure it will be good. It's just these new Batman movies take themselves so damn seriously. Which is one thing I think people like about them but to me superheroes need to have a little bit of cheese factor in them.

Which is why I feel that Joss Whedon already made the perfect superhero movie earlier this summer. It was the perfect mix of serious and fun and I don't think I'll enjoy The Dark Knight Rises as much as The Avengers.

Couldn't agree more, man!! I got to be an extra in The Dark Knight, so before it came out, I wanted to know everything, I watched every preview and while it certainly didn't ruin anything when it came to the movie (freakin loved it, of course), I'm taking the opposite approach to this one.

I've tried to go in to sensory lockdown when it comes to TDKR. I've only watched a few previews, but I've tried to avoid all articles, spoilers etc so that I know as little as possible about the movie. I want to be surprised, and while I've looked at a few scores without reading the reviews, I'm VERY psyched to see this!!

I also replayed Arkham City recently (man, what a phenomenal game!)

I wish! Nah, I just got to be one of the evacuees in one of the wide panning shots and then when the boats were being loaded up toward the end. I've tried to pick myself our a bunch of times, but I can't.

It was awesome. Granted, it was about 90 degrees that day and we had to wear coats and carry blankets and what not. We did the same shot about 15 times. Then we went and did the boat stuff for the rest of the day. One shot where we were getting on and then another shot where we were angry about the prisoners getting on the boat.

I met a ton of cool people that day, and I even got to see Christopher Nolan. The best part was that there were evacuees and there were criminals, and throughout the day, evacuees stopped hanging around criminals and what not, people were eyeing one another a little bit, like we started becoming these people. It was hilarious, like some weird social experiment!

I just got in from the movie. I watched no trailers going into it, and the thing I was most unsure of was Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, but I really enjoyed the movie.

Dark Knight Rises had every single element that makes me hate superhero movies, and very little (read: Anne Hathaway unexpectedly playing a solid Catwoman) in the way of redeeming qualities. Three hours wasted.

The Dark Knight has everything I enjoy about super hero movies including Anne Hathaway as the best catwoman put on the big screen and Tom Hardy as an awesome version of Batman. Three hours well spent.

The Dark Knight Rises was one of the best movies I've ever seen. It was so damn perfect and the ending was incredible
