The most popular is probably Sektor, well, I think so anywayz.

My favourite is hard to say... I like them all for different reasons. Remember, these are all just my opinion.

Sektor:
- Looks coolest
- Worst to use in the 2D games
- Best to use in the 3D games
- Worst storyline of the three

Cyrax:
- Looks the worst
- Best to use in the 2D games
- Worst to use in the 3D games
- Best storyline of the three

Smoke:
Average in all areas. He is a real solid character int the sense that he has everything "good", but nothing "amazing".

Overall, my fave is Sektor. His storyline is the worst, but still good. He is the worst in the 3D games, but not by much. So yeah... while he may have some bad aspects about him when compared with the other cyborgs, they are not as bad as those that Cyrax has. Smoke is cool, but kinda boring =/

The cyborgs are cool. My favourtie one is Cyrax, and then Sektor. Gameplay wise I find Smoke the best. Cyrax has the best storyline and owns in Motor Kombat. After a big break Sektor finally returns. His storyline hasn't developed yet. We'll see after we get his bio. I'm guessing he'll feud wth Sonya, Cyrax, Sub-Zero and Taven. He'll probably be a psycho trying to destroy anything with his tekunin army.

I like Sektor the best. He was the first to volunteer to become one and did it with no regret. While Cyrax's trademark move was his net, and Smoke's trademark move was his trident spear...no fancy gimmicks for Sektor. Just missiles. Lots and lots of fucking missiles. An emotionless, driven, calculating, killing machine....who's currently going insane to boot. Taking it upon himself to deem all humans inferior, he now runs his own clan that looks like is building into a major threat. I also like his teleport punch and the dual lightsabers....I mean Pulseblades.
He's like a bad ass fusion of Agent Smith, the Predator, and the Terminator all in one.

I like Smoke, too. There's always been something about him I found intriguing. I like the tragic element of his storyline, that he didn't want to become a cyborg and is now being used as a weapon. I like his new ethereal look, too. I hope whatever happens he finally escapes being everyone's bitch and becomes his own man again.

I still like Cyrax, but not as much as I used to. Since he officially became good after MK Gold I've lost a lot of interest in him. He's still all right though.

Well what do we have here? A nice and orderly collection of Sektor and Cyrax fans with nary a Smoke lover in sight. Well, allow me to be the thorn in your side, your third wheel, the monkey on your back, the bane to your existence, your dead weight, the weakest link that refuses to get kicked off the team, etc, etc, etc by being the first Smoke fan to enter the building.

Smoke's been my favorite ever since I saw him MK3 or, more likely, the second movie. I myself like dark colors so I always thought he looked kooler than Ketchup and Mustard. This continued in 3D as he just has such an awesome, dark, evil look to him that I actually like more than the original (Which is his primary in Deception and Alternate in Armageddon. I'm not a fan of his new, 3D human look.). Additionally, I can't play with Cyrax for crap. I don't know how you manage that net because it doesn't do any damage and it levitates your enemy into the air so you can't do combos to your foe when they get close to you. As for Sektor, I might have done better with him if I didn't try using him on one of the last few fights where things get really hard. Smoke, however, I rule with both 2D and 3D. Maybe it's because in 2D I can use his Smokeycut followed by grappling hook and finish with a high punch, high punch, low kick, high kick, low punch combo and how in Armageddon (I haven't played Deception in a while...), I can use his Judo circle, circle, back triangle, back triangle combo, follow up with Stinky Fingers, switch to Mi Tzu, and then use his style branch combo for some serious damage...or it might just be that I used him more than anyone else, being my favorite and all, so I learned HOW to be good with him. Whatever. To each his/her own cyborg.

Story-wise, I still like Smoke the most. Before, I just liked him for his looks. Now, I love him for his tragic story. Anyone can be kool but I find a guy who was forced into becoming a mindless killing machine and forced to hunt down his best friend, only to be captured and later reprogrammed to follow some idiot around the Netherrealm (My other...) a lot more sympathetic and likable. I count robot Smoke as my favorite but I thought his Armageddon ending would have been much better if his human side finally freed himself of his metallic prison. As for Sektor's and Cyrax's stories, Sektor's is okay. To be honest, it's nothing original. We've all seen the whole "robot gonna wipe out all organic beings and replace all life with mechanical creations" thing thousands of times before. But then again, every series that has a robot has a responsibility to make at least one robot that sort of character and Sektor is Mortal Kombat's such character. Cyrax on the other hand, is pretty likable. I like him more now that he has reunited with his humanity and is a good guy because, despite the fact that I like Smoke more, I think Cyrax looks pretty kool (Especially ever since Deadly Alliance...) and I like it when the kool-looking characters are also the good characters because that means that nine times out of ten, they'll be on the winning side.

#3- Sektor....(Unless you count his look in Armageddon an upgrade, he's the only one of the three that never advanced and thusly, I make fun of him for it all the time...no offense to you Sektor fans. Then, even if his Armageddon thing is an upgrade, it isn' t much of one. He's still the least advanced of the three and on top of that, I'd say he has the most cliche storyline....Sorry to all of the Sektor fans that I've offended and will most likely be hunted down by.)

#2- Cyrax....(I think his look is kool and I like how he is actually a good guy because it's not every day that villains willingly turn to the good side and still look kool doing so. Also, he's one of my friends' second favorite MK character and he was just simply awesome in the second movie. The only thing that gets to me about Cyrax is that he's by far the most popular robot and thusly gets more attention than the other two as seen in how he's the only playable one in Motor Kombat and was the only robot they decided to bring back in Deadly Alliance.)

#1- Smoke.....(Uh...for the reasons stated above.)

Sektor is definetly my favorite,Cyrax was much better than him in the 2-D Games,but he is much better in MKA.

Smoke would be my second favorite,and Cyrax is my least favorite

i like smoke the best and i liek the way his story is going how he was w/ sub then noob now he is turning on noob, i dunno he is a love him or hate him character, in my mind his movesets tend 2 be good and his storys r always good, when i was younger i was so happy when i unlocked human smoke but then was a little bummed when i reliezed he has scorpoins exact moveset, but yeah he def my fav cyborg but i hope they do something w/ him being human again but i doubt that will ever happen

Yeah, I agree Cyrax is MUCH better in the 2D games by far then his appearance in the 3D ones and honestly, this is from experience with Cyrax and as a Cyrax fan.He was better in MK:DA by far then he is in MK:A.

At first his new spinny sword move looked nice and it's safe online but seriously, he lost this fast poke he had with it in MK:DA that was effective and he also had a quick launch with B+2 that was fast and you could combo off of it.

In MK:A Cyrax just sucks straight out fact lol.He's one of the worst in the game sadly as far as gameplay, he still doesn't have his Net which was KEY in MK3/UMK3 trust me lol and his bombs came back slow as shit lol.

UMK3 he was definitely #2 cyber ninja after Smoke then Sektor third.

Sektor gameplay wise you know it's a touch call, he was actually very good in UMK3 but like Cyrax was underrated, hardly used by fans but when used right could be a pain and very good.Buffer the seeking missles, charge with combos mix in that teleport well and Sektor was a pain.However, Sektor is also pretty damn good in MK:A also so it's tough.He was also in MKG but didn't change much from MK3/UMK3 although he is a top tier in that game surprisingly...in MKG that is.

Cyrax was the man against non-teleporters, bring any non-teleporter and Cyrax can take him or her easily although Jade can give him problems in that game with her damn flashy move that can make her walk thru projectiles temporarily....but honestly, Cyrax is awesome in UMK3.Buffer the bombs, buffer the net often but wisely...not too often and you can get easy 45%+ combos when done correctly.He also has an infinte in that game but it's near to impossible to pull off and I guarantee nobody will do it lol.

Sadly though, Cyrax has ALWAYS been a low tier in the 2D games(yes that's right believe it or not) and the 3D games he's just bad sadly when compared to the 2D ones.He's also low tier in the 3D games.

But anyway, yeah Smoke I like second for sure and in UMK3 he was awesome, pure awesomeness.Either smoke robo or human owned in that game.Smoke is very good in MK:D and fairly good in MK:A.He's toned down a bit but still good to use.

I am particularly fond of Cyrax over Smoke. Sektor is utterly a heap of trash.

Easily Smoke, I found Smoke to have a tragic story line.He always got screwed over in a way.Here are some more reasons...

* I also like his human form but it wasnt asked for

* I love his net attack.
* His fatality in MKDA is cool ( kinda IMO )

I think they all have good chances to come back in future MK games personally due to their storyline but Sektor I think has the least chance.I know he's this new Tekunin Leader and all but I think Cyrax's and Smoke's storyline can go further personally.

To me, Smoke is like the crud left after the usuable dinnerware is already made from clay...a small pile of nothingness somehow conjured up into something playable, yet still worthless. I never liked him. Now, since his make-over, I will admitt he is considerably more tolerable, but the curse of my dislike still lingers from the past. I despised his current costumes at first look. Smoke is a "grey spot" to me...

///////Sektor wins everything new. He's just a beast right now. He probably is the best character development story-wise I can notably point to so far...He went from being heavily over-shadowed around my way, to becoming an entire Army...And I like him now for his improvements. I think they did an excellent job with him as far as that is concerned.

Though I rather would have seen conceptual art influence his costumes more, I'm not dissapointed by any means....He looks fantastic in this latest game. That's all I could've asked for...

Sektor is the Fav...right now. We'll have to see what happens...

I also remember when early on some fans thought Cyrax was Scorpion at first LOL..I still remember that.

Story wise, Smoke has always been my favorite. Ever since II, the character has peaked my interest. I think there's alot of things that could be explored with his story, and I'd eventually like to see him become human again (I loved his little cameo in Shaolin Monks).

Yeah, I wish Smoke looked like that in MKA perhaps in the future he'll look like that.He looked badass, much better then his elemental, evil power ranger look that he has now LOL.His cyber look is better IMO, but that MK:SM look would have been a better human form IMO.

cyrax, he learns the art of ninjitsu, and he has very dangerous specials and fighting moves, sektor is my least fav, and smoke is just slow and is not quick. but it would be cooler for him to be in human form
