Update 2014: The tradition of fan fantasy fights and who would win? battles is now an entire forum! Check out the Fan Koliseum where every MK battle can now become its own thread!
Original Post: I've been thinking about making this thread for a couple months now, but the tendency for threads that have "?? vs ??...who would win?", died down a bit. So I held off.
Seeing that these types of threads came back with full force, it seems appropriate to make this thread. (someone made a suggestion I saw too, but anyway...)
RULES
1. You may post whoever vs whoever// whatever vs whatever in this thread as long as it has an MK "thing" involved. This thread won't have many limitations like that though.
One of two limitations I'd see fit, is:
2. Only pit the same characters up against each other ONCE on a page. If there is alot of characters in one battle....that's a little different. But don't pit say, "Scorpion vs Sub Zero" over and over on one page...I will skull you for negligence (not following the rules of the thread).
3. Anyone can give their opinion on any proposed "vs" at anytime. Doesn't matter cuz these battles never get old to some people.
4. DO NOT flame each other in this thread...lol...I don't even care what happened. Hahaha, if I see it and it's inappropriate per the site rules, or the thread rules,>>> I'll hand out the skulls like I'm trying to get rid of them. lol.

Since this thread is now open, and in encompasses everthing like it, I will be requesting to have all the other vs threads that pop up, closed. That's any of them that exist now, and any that might be made in the future.

Magneto
(nevermind the sig tag-names)
.....Who do you think would win, and why?.......
I think Raiden would win because he has all the "divinity" of gods and is an eternal life force. Though Lightning is essentially "magnetism" or, negative and positive atoms moving at super hot speeds, existence can not be without these elements.....and that's what Raiden is made up of.
Magneto is looked upon as a god, and has even performed very fantastic deeds similar to gods in some of the comics, but he would not out manipulate or outlast Raiden.
Either this, or I think it would be a straight stalemate....(draw)

Yeah, same here.
And Raiden would also win even if he wasn't an "immortal God" but say Raiden still had his powers. Why? Well, for one Magneto is a powerful mutant however he can't fight up close nearly as well as Raiden can. Raiden besides his insane powers CAN actually fight, Magneto is more of this older dude that uses his powers but never throws and actual punch if you think about it.
I believe this would also play a role, besides lightning>>Magnetism
My vote is for Raiden.
BTW, Predator you said we can make up the matches? Is there a certain point as to say first to 5 or 10 votes before doing so? And also, how come this isn't in the general man? I mean I don't care about that, I just figured since more people might see it there but don't get me wrong. This forum needs a hot thread like this so despite where it is I'll be happy to post in it

1. Yep, anyone can announce any "vs", at anytime....just no bickering. The thread should live long enough to get everyones battles taken care of at one point or another.
2. Nah, no limitations like "votes" and what not.
3. Lol, because this forum is where the problem is. hahaha...
This forum was likely created so people won't see things like this over there...It has relevance in this forum more than any other place though I think.

To quite the contrary, Magneto controls the elements that make up magnetism... Those elements contribute to making a "lightning bolt", happen.
Which is what Raiden is...a perpetual mass of lightning bolts. That's why I think this is a good match up. The only real save Raiden would have is his divinity as a god, or like MkFlegend says, if they both had no "powers, Raiden is by far the more superior fighter.
You either have to know, or remember just how powerful Magneto is. This guy has the capability (in a version or two) to time travel, and or effect planetary systems....using the powers of magnetism.
Under-estimation is unwise.
