As usual, a spectacular episode!

I really loved the interaction between Leona and Lara, it was believably tense.

This entire episode flowed very nicely, and I love that we are getting more to the ruthless core of Leona's character.

It's nice to see Mace and Elandra involved with Donnovan, and I wasn't expecting them to go to Valora, it was a nice touch and seems like the situation presented will have some deep effects on the three.

Wow! Already? It feels like I just wrote a review for an amazing episode...well I did. This One:

* The Lara/Leona scene was outstanding. The dialogue of the two girls was hilarious, yet so full of tension and aggressiveness. I don't get the feeling that Lara will be able to fool Leona for a second, but since Leona REALLY wants to get the Vice, she might have to trust her. I wonder what's gonna happen when Leona finds out that Vice wasn't the only one behind her father's murder...Should be very interesting to see a future potential rivalry arise in the future. Also, you can also see Leona somewhat having feelings toward Mace, romantic or not, no matter how small they are, or maybe thats just me, lol. Also what is Lara going to do about her encounter with Leona? Is she going to tell Vice, possibly use that information as blackmail to learn what he knows? Who knows? Leo does! >:P All in all, I loved this scene, and I already have a good feeling this encounter won't be their last...

* Closer and closer, Lara inches toward Mace's full trust and possibly even heart. Her plot seems to still be working flawlessly. I loved how she completely lead Mace astray with that story and pinned it on possibly a past competitor or an Assassin. It also seems that Mace is starting to get dirty thoughts when around Lara! :-O He's completely falling for Lara and her plans, and it appears nothing can save him...Except maybe Leona? Not too sure, maybe its just me, but I have a hunch that Leona's somehow gonna snap him out of it. I don't know...I guess we'll have to wait and see. Another Great scene Leo.

"Don't worry...>= )"

* A very interesting scene, Short and Sweet. I loved the magic effect used to heal Viper...very creepy and fitting for an evil Necromancer like Maverick. He seems paticulary worried about this new group of rebels...I wonder if he has any plans of doing anything about it?

"Something must be done about these rebels fast. With Luther's brother aiding them, they'll become more of a threat than any other rebellion we've ever faced... sooner of later."

* Another well done Dialouge scene. I liked how Elandra's overly concerned for Mace, and he's like "o_o Go away". She also doesn't seem to happy about him only caring about finding his Dad's killer, and not concerned with winning the tournament, like everyone else. Also, I have a feeling that now Elandra feels that she hasn't really changed, especially after what she did with Leona...Hmm some internal struggle within her character? I can't wait see where it leads her.

"Thing is... I can't even blame her."

* I loved how Davila used her gem to put her "Mask" back on again, pretty Red mist effect. I still wonder if Hamon will still rat out Davila in the End? He doesn't seem to happy about Davila threatening him like that either. He's going to have to make a tough call here, that hopefull will blow up in the next few episodes!

"Oh! Thank the darkest pits of hell!"

* Lara's plan is going well, and making her Emperor very...VERY pleased. He has a LOT of his hopes riding on this plan, and if it turns out unsuccessful, there's gonna be Hell to pay. A nice sensual ending to that scene too....Kinky Whip!

"Damn it, man! Calm down! Don't be so aggressive!"

* Diavol and his pathetic self bring humor to me once again in this scene. Wow at Luther's weapon description...it sounds amazing and very deadly. I would love a sketch for a possible future extra. I am very curious on how this operation with Diavol and Viper turns out. The scene was pretty short, but very enjoyable.

"Let's go. Fear will be that Community's weakness. They will fully bend to my rule."

* Quite an explosive end to a great episode. I really loved the description of Valora and its people; it just gives off the poor "desperation" vibe to me. I was not expecting some poor soul to actually stand up to Luther! :-O Tssk, Tssk. When will they Learn? He did learned his lesson the hard way sadly, and in the process his idiocy cost his child a father, and widowed his wife. Haha! >= )

I wonder how Mace and Elandra are feeling, showing the depth of Luther's evil reign truly unfold in front of their very eyes? Will this convince them to aid Donnovan in his cause?

All in all, a Great episode! It set up several things that should explode in the episodes to come, which I am eagerly awaiting! Once again, Amazing Job!



Hmm...This seems paticularly smaller and less detailed than your normal reviews...What happened?

Nothing in particular happened, I just wasn't more detailed.

Sometimes, I just forget to write things that I intended, such as how wonderful the scene with Davila and Hamon was; I'd completely forgotten about her little red jewel! Glad to see that she's still just as cunning and devious as before she got her face 'stolen' but now she needs to watch out; if Vlad catches her impetuous behavior again I am sure he'll remove more than her face...

I'm glad you're seeing so deep into this scene, B_C. I've noticed that you have an eye for these subtle things that pop up in an otherwise everyday scene, that's why I find it so easy to reply to these comments. There's a lot of conclusions that can be drawn from that scene, and what conclusion you come to really depends on how you view Leona as a character. From what I read here, you seem to see her as someone who won't accept to be fooled or lied to under any circumstances, which is actually what I feel in regard to her as well. This is why you can smell a possible rivalry in this scene, and I can't say I blame you. It'll be inevitable if Leona keeps digging into Lara or even Vice like this.



Again, you seem to view Leona very closely to how I do. The simple question she asked Lara concerning Mace seems like a huge act of affection and friendship coming from someone like her.



LoL, do you really think he's falling for her or is just being flirtatious? It's true that we rlly haven't seen much of Mace's past to determine if he's someone to fall in love and trust people easily, or if he's just an everyday manwhore who is finding no time to hit on women because of his obsession with something else. All we have to judge from is his actions so far, and I take it that you're going with option #1? Hmm... we'll see where this goes.

IMO, he's been more worried about the rebels than Luther. He's the one who took the initiative to send Viper after their hideout, and the one who fed a victim to Sabre to get information on Donnovan. This means that, yup, I think he's very likely to act in some way if Luther doesn't give destroying the coalition as much effort as he is ready to give.



If you were in his position, would you be more scared of Davila and having her burst your bubble, or more loyal to Vlad, trusting that he would be able to rival her sorcery before she could do anything?

Wow leo this was a really good one.

The Lara/Leona scene was brilliant. I actually thought that Leona would start a fight but what wound up happening was just as good. I think its funny that an assassin is talking to her and Lara can still be impatient and sarcastic.

As for Lara's plot with Mace. This is a well writen story arc. I am very intrested to find out which Heiligan Lara is going to point to. She is definitely a good spy and very clever. I think the only people she cant fool is Mileena and Leona. Im thinkin if she keeps trying to fool them something bad might happen to Miss Lara. Although she sometimes makes the others very gulliable. Especially Mace.

I think the Davila/Hamon scene was brilliant. Hamon definitely showed great loalty to Vlad. I was expecting another physical confrontation but alas no. Again though what happened was equally as brillant and attention keeping.

All in all an excellent episode Leo.

Great job Leo. That was a great and nessecary episode.

Lara Vs. Leona - You could cut the tension there with a double-edged blade, if Leona didn't do it first . They shared some very brisk, and somewhat comical threats. Leona must be on some sort of Dimentian crack to think if she could break into the Fortress. Leona's showing some small sort of affection for Mace which can lead to something.... and Lara, still proving her surperiorty over Leona.

Lara & Mace - Lara, is a very good actress, contrary to what I said earlier. She switches from Surprerior Empress, to "Fragile" little Lara. Mace, having a little fun ogling the hot chicks? That's Drake's job . And now Mace wants to actually consult with Luther? That's going to be very interesting.

House Party - Elandra, gets shaken with some dark memories, and Leona waltzes in like she ownes the place. Mace, on the other hand, is a playboy. He shows affection for Leona while ogling Lara. Mace is the man.

Loyalty/Makeover - Davila is a tricky little bitch. But does she honestly believe that she can fool the best ever Vladmir? And Hamon, proving his fierce loyalty to Lord Vladmir can only be good for him, unless Davila fulfills her promise. What a mean girl.

Luther's new toy - Why does Viper sleep like a Gargoyle? Oh well. And now Diavol proves that he's a little girl by trying to run away from Luther's weapon. Well, he has some intelligence, by trying to escape from a cell that undoubetdly Maverick has a spell over, but hey, what can you do right?

A Stroll through Town - Very very good descriptions. I felt like I was there. Why Mace had a stonewalled face is beyond me, but yet again, that actually caused some internal sadness on my part.

Luther proves Dominance - What a brave man, ehem, hero. To actually challenge Luther like that? What crack was he on? Did he get it from Leona? Either way, Luther get's angry, and there's no more hero. Great job with that part.

Overall - 10/10.

As for whether or not Davila thinks she can fool Vladimir, the answer is yes, she definitely thinks she can fool Vladimir. But, whether she actually CAN or not remains to be seen.

Overall, Hamon better pray that Davila's completely wrong and serving Vlad is all he really needs to do.

Awesome job Leo. The long episode was definitely one of your best. If anything bad can be said its that we dont know the next match. But with Logan seemingly out of action who knows when it will be.


The scenes in this episode were fantastic. The scene in Valora was good. It definitely shows that Donnovan is quite impatient. Pyrros obviously has a great plan up his sleve or whatever he wears. As he is very calm

The scene between Luther and Mace was fantastic and filled with the perfect dialouge for the situation. I particularly liked how Luther was lazily sitting on the throne. Where Lara casually sat on his lap. Im surprised Luther stayed as calm as he did with all the things that Mace was saying to him. "I dont think that story is complete" and Luther said, "Im an emporer not a madman who wants to kill people" perfect.

It was funny that SK, Viper and Bianca were all spying. Since when did Viper hang out with them? It used to be just SK and Bianca. Viper started hanging out with them after the fight. Just wondering why. Luther shows that he is quite forgiving to those three especially Bianca and Viper. losing a fight, fighting with lara, spying.

It was a perfect ending. I liked how that worked. Like i said before about Pyrros plan. (in refrence to a possible future question what do you think Akio was brought to dimentia for and what might he speek to Mace about?

I think that he was brought by Pyrros because he feels as though if anyone can convince Mace to do something its Akio. They are probably going to speek about horrible things luther had done before.

All in due time, all in due time - Round 2 will spring up out of nowhere when it's time, just have to keep watching out for it. And don't worry, plenty of very interesting stuff is going to be happening until that time comes.

Also, don't be so sure Logan's done for...



I'm sure it was very hard for him to keep his cool, especially knowing how "temperamental" he can be, but not blowing Lara's cover was too important and kept him in line.



Well, it's already fact that Viper and Serpen Kia share a sort of brotherhood - it just so happens that Bianca's in the middle of that situation, so they do have a little "trio" going on, at least in this scene. Also remember the gathering at The Frontier? The three of them were in their little group.



I wouldn't go so far as to say Luther is forgiving, I'd rather go with he was anxious about his meeting with Mace and wanting to speak privately with his spy/adviser as fast as possible, not watch any bickering.



That's a good one, though I predict most answers will be similar to one another.
