A Light at the end of the, eh, tunnel - Leona, is a bitch. Plain and simple. If I met her, I'd either f*** her or kill her. I like the Force Field that Master Akio can create. Elandra, worried about Akio? Naaah.

One step forward, two steps back - One step forward... Viro lives. Two steps back. He's Lara's bitch. And he got pwned by Drake's surperior strength. XD.

Dinner - Reading that made me hungry. Until Lara turned obscenely violent.

The unlucky Railing - Bianca can't ever learn how to keep her nose out of biz huh? She almost got her ass handed to her. Major Secks between Vice and Bianca? O_o.

Hit from behind - Vice got the ill surprise from Leona. And he stayed cool. I like Leona's innocence.

Secks? - Leona gets all kinky on Mace. oooooooooooooooooooo.

The Fight - I can't wait to read the battle after this intense shit-talking sesion (no sarcasm intended).

Overall 10/10. Of course, with the work you put it in, by anyone's normal standards, this is ten out of ten.

Leo score 8/10. It was still great, but for you caliber, it felt like something was missing. Not really sure.

Alrighty...time for my brief review!!

There is so much greatness here, from Leona's unwavering creepiness (yes, she does tend to creep me out, the little minx!) to Bianca's never-ending spying turned sexual proposition (that was a great segue, BTW).

I am actually starting to like Leona now; at first she wasn't really defined (to me), and then she was just creepily....not really evil, but maybe 'bad?' And that's saying something for me, as I usually LOVE the bad/evil girls of anything....but I digress...it was great seeing Vice and Leona's plot pick up again, and what a great way to end the episode.

I am wondering when exactly Vice will tell Lara what he knows about Pyros and Donnovan's plans.....should be interesting if she finds out from another source.

All in all, the pacing in the episode was great, and really flowed from one scene to the next. I am eagerly anticipating the next one, as always

Ugh, I know I'm one of the last ones to post my review again, but I promise it'll be worth the wait (like always) !! With my Grandmother passing and the Router from the Depths of Hell itself, I haven't had too much time to be on the Computer, but I have managed to read the others ones so far... Hmm. S_S seems to really be getting "analytical" on the story. I should try and give my own opinions about the deep subjects she brought up, As practice to make my review even amazing....er


You say that one of my favorite characters in the story wasn't well-"defined" in the past. How is that so? I mean, yeah, Leona's always had the "dark vibe" going on, but all it did was add to her character and make her different from her clone- err....I mean.....the subtle spin-off that is her less-complex counterpart: Elandra.

I really can't see what you wouldn't like about Leona. Hmm, do I sense a bit of *ahem* jealousy? ^_^ Sorry, I just can't find another good reason for someone who "usually likes the bad girls of anything" not liking Leona, who fits the mold perfectly. *singsong voice* Issuuueeessss!

Anyway, my brain hurts after all this "analyzing". I can't keep it up much longer, or I'll wear it off for the review (which is almost done >= O)!

When I said that I didn't initially like the character, that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the contributions she's made to the story, or that I don't find the character interesting, or anything of the sort. I am not going to go through a list of reason's why I personally felt that she wasn't well defined, because they are just personal quirks of mine.

There is no jealousy on my part, and certainly not because she's your character; I didn't even know that until you just mentioned it. BTW, I see Elandra and Leona as two very different characters, who's only similarities are their professions.

At any rate, I just want to make sure that this doesn't turn into you and I attacking each other over our opinions, because I find that to be a time waster and an over all detractor from the larger picture: Leo's work as a whole.

Maybe I didn't make it clear, but I do enjoy Leona's character more now, and it was only in a few episodes that I didn't like her CHARACTER, as in morals, driving forces, etc.

Well, that's my mini-rant about mini-rant's for the year

Bottom line, I don't want you to have the impression that I've disliked Leona from the beginning, that I still dislike her, that I am jealous of her character (why would I be? So far my character is coming around as I want her to, thanks to Leo being a great listener and even better story-teller), or anything of the sort.

Sorry, but the way you said it made it seem pretty clear to me that you disliked Leona's character. And I think you SHOULD actually go into details about why you thought she wasn't "well-defined". If you have a strong opinion about a story element, you must have some great reasons to back it up. Don't be afraid to discuss.



Uuh.. Leona ISN'T my character! I just said she's ONE OF MY FAVORITES! We don't need to be talking about Bianca or Serpen Kia for me to defend their positions in the series. If I just generally really like the character, I'll defend his or her spot as if they were my own.

Hmm.. Well, I gues that's your opinion about them not being similar (BTW, I thought Elandra wasn't an assassin anymore?). I still can't help but feel some kind of carbon-copy scientific experiment-type-of-thing going on whenever I stop to think about it.



Discussions are certainly NOT a time-waster. They're a show that the people involved are deeply into the story and enjoy picking out the littlest details of it, so if anything, it's not a "detractor", but a "contribution" to Leo's work, IMO.



You're contradicting yourself big time. You said "I love the bad girls in anything!". Leona's morals? None, she's a dark character, a neutral, self-serving party. That certainly fits your odd mold of "bad girl". Her driving force? Revenge, thirst for murder, blood! Again, that certainly fits your odd mold of "bad girl". So the way I see it, there's two ways to interpret your current opinions from what you've said:

1) You do like the "bad girls" of anything, but you have a particular problem with Leona for reasons I can only dream about.

2) You're contradicting yourself because you just wanted to subtly bash on Leona for no reason, and now cannot really find a way to back it up

Am I the only one who is still under the suspicion that it is in fact STREETKING that is the African among us? I have a feeling that he's framing Keifus, and I'm going to get the the bottom of this! Even if it kills....O_O Streetking O_O.

Anyway, once again, I apologize for posting my review so late. My Grandmother passed away, and I have been dealing with a few family issues following it. Plus my Internet has been quite a bitch lately -_-'. Everything is getting better now, so I now finally have some time to review this marvelous piece of literary art.

Let's get this Show on the Road, shall we?

* Wow....just...Wow. A very emotional scene this one was. Master Akio's dialouge is always flawless and very powerful, you really make it sound like an old martial arts master (well...Duh! He is One ) from the movies! I really think he started getting to Leona, reaching out to her...but sadly, all for not. Her hatred and thirst for revenge against Vice has nearly consumed her. It was a nice touch to see that she almost "couldn't" kill him. (oh and Btw, there was no forcefield...o_o) It also was nice to show that Elandra is Deeply concerned for him as well. An outstanding scene, I can't wait to see where it leads in future episodes!

"I do hope she does not choose to let go of the light growing inside of her. As dim as it is..."

* This scene is one of my favorites in DD History. LMAO!!!!!!!! At Viro on his knees groveling and begging for his life. He tried to put up a good fight, but failed miserably. Though I have to admit, he does have some balls...though they just shrunk with him begging. Lara dialouge in this scene was absolutely hilarious and witty. Hmm...I wonder how Lara plans to assert herself even further into Mace's life...though i could guess by what she said, lol. Drake don't seem to happy about it...Haha! Anyway, Amazing scene!

"I will raid your lair for your stock of toxins, then come back to kill you."

* A Very interesting dialouge scene. I'm glad to see Mace is up to the task of complteting this quest, though I still have the feeling he isn't quite over with hunting down his father's killer. I do like how Pyrros mentioned Elandra as a possible obstacle in the future. I really can't wait to see what Donnovan, Pyrros, and Mace are going to do to destroy the stone...can't wait to see where it goes!

"I respect the great amount of honor you have for your father's memories. But obsession over anything is a dangerous feeling to have; Luther is the perfect example of how much it can play with your mind, enslave your soul, and annihilate your free will. Do not serve your obsession, Mace."

* Not only was this scene perfectly executed...it made me very hungry ;-;! I loved how Vice is toying with Lara, and it is increasingly pissing her off. I do wonder how long Vice is going to hold his information from Lara...or is she going to get it from another source, like Mace? Should be interesting. Hmm...Vice going to distract Leona while she makes a Move on Mace perhaps? Bianca and her eavesdropping...she's about as bad as me when it comes to it! Flirting with Vice....I wonder where that will lead.... At anyway rate, another Awsome scene!

"Alright, then. Four knocks on my door. Remember that."

* Wow...amaing final scene. Hmm Lara's plan seems to be working...Leona is busy with Vice, and she seems to have Mace under her sexy spell. How is he going to get out of this one? What a cliff-hanger! I can't wait to see the conclusion in the next episode!!!

"Then I'll have plenty of time to murder you just like I always dream of... slicing off bit by bit of your wretched body, sending a little piece of you to hell at a time, taking away your life very slowly... with a lot of pain... with a lot of blood..."

All in All, this one was one of my Favorites. I really enjoyed reading it, and I am eagerlly awaiting ep. 21!

Well, I am not going into a deep discussion of everything you've raised in rebuttal to my comments simply because I don't have the time right now, but thanks for taking the time to respond.

The only thing I wanted to mention is that while I guess it'd be easy for you to see that I am contradicting myself, I am not.

When I say morals, I don't mean good morals...everyone has their own set of morals, whether they are viewed by the general public or not is a matter of debate. I just felt like there was a shift in Leona's character from where she'd started, and that shift felt (to me) unexpected and not in line with her character, but that's just me.

That shift simply makes more sense now, and I like that. And when I say that I dislike her character, I am not referring to Leona herself...just like with the morals, there is more than one meaning and subtext; I am referring the package that consists of Leona's emotions, morals (you can say they don't exist, or you say their 'bad', I don't care, this is how I classify it ). There are parts of her that I've consistently liked, and she's consistently been a solid and good character (as in creation, addition to the story, protagonist of the unraveling piece of literature, whateva).

I agree that debate makes for healthy discussion and does show that we care about the characters and the works we are discussing, but I felt that this had a possibility of going towards something other than a debate. I am glad it hasn't, as from what I've seen of you (I don't really stray too far from this thread, lol) has been great; you're fierce with your words and strong in character (so far as I can tell on the internet), so it'd be a shame if you and I didn't get along; my initial rebuttal was simply to make sure that we didn't go that route.

BTW, I guess I must have misread the line where it made it look like you said Leona was your character....I thought there was something wrong about that, but I just didn't re-read the line to make sure I had it right (and look where it got me! )

Anyway, long story short, thanks for the conversational response, as well as the correction on my faux pas

Leo, I just read this episode. Whoa, just whoa. That was way too much action for my puny earthling brain. *Exhales, shakes his head*. Okay, time for the Grand Review!!!!


Bitch and the Beast pt. 1 - Great action. Your describing of the action had me thinking I was actually there. I felt the pain of each hit, and the triumph of each fighter (I was rooting for Vice). That was GREAT!

The Animal - Diavol gets caught sooo quick. I lmaoed at that sooo hard. The second he gets through the door, he's caught. Then he get's all shot up. I like Viper's entrance, that had me a little scared. He kicked ASS!!

Unleash the Sabre! - That's going to be very fun to read. The Sabre destroying Valora. But how will Maverick get the Sabre back under control? I smell a potentinal problem :). (You can use my quote too).

Bitch and the Beast pt. 2 - Read the pt. 1

The Dark Aura of Fashion - I like how Lara is so enthralled by Earth clothing, and other objects. I like how she had to change back quickly when somebody came in, it was like "ZOMG change my clothing!". I actually felt for Master Akio when she dismissed him. But even still, that was a litle scary. Master Akio is good... very good.

Unfriendly Assassins - It seems that Elandra really dosen't like Leona. She was upbeat when asking if Leona had left. That was funny as well.

Vlad is the Man! - (NOTE: Whenever Vlad is in a scene, that will be his official title). He possesed a Watcher? WHAAAT? He has L33T UBER HAXCORZ SKILLZ!!!!!! And he tested Hamon's loyalty. He is cool.

Mace vs. Hamon - That's going to a fight for the Ages. I would have saveed that for the semi finals, but this will be a very cool Prelim.

Bitch and the Beast pt. 3 - Lara found them! w00t w00t, that's one long fight.

I'm the Emporer, I don't give a fuck! - I love how Luther didn't care at all about Leona. He just kept dismissing Lara, because he had better things to do, like admire the comfort of his throne. Ahhh, the perks of Emporership.

Bitch and the Beast pt. 4 - Ahh, the climactic ending! I hate Leona now. I honestly hope that she dies. I love hos Akio dove in and started to beat the shit out of Vice. Then Leona has the balls to attack him? What a bitch! Then Elandra comes in, gets her ass handed to her by Vice (Not leona, she pwned Leona).

The Entrance... and Exit - Luthor yells like thunder? I have to remember that! I love how he just summoned Vice to him. And then Leona attacks him? And she actually succedes? Daanm. But Luthor just fucks her up quickly. Then Lara just blocks her last attack with ease. The Dimentians are the Best! (besides Vlad, and Akio)

Overall: 10/10. The action was everywhere! I loved it.
Leo Score: 10/10. There is not a single point lost on any aspect of this story. It was amazing! Great job!

Hmm....Reviewing this episode to its Maximum will take me a while, due to it being so...Orgasmic (Circa Leo -_-), but it will be the most rewarding one I have ever done before! O_O

Can you imagine two people fighting for such a long time? They started at, like, early nighttime, and by the end of the next day's morning, they were still at it. That just echoes "cool" to me.



Come on, SK, you heard Leona! She said if anyone intruded in their fight, she and Vice would forget their rivalry and team up to kick the intruder's ass! She warned them! Master Akio showed how very strong he was by pushing Vice back, but even he should have been wise enough to recognize the possibility of being punished if attacked by the two at once. Leona gave them fair warning.

She's not a "friend" charater, that's what you gotta realize. She doesn't want friends. She's there for one reason, and that's to gut Vice: nothing else. So all these other things that you're worrying about like being a bitch to people, or her attacking innocent people, all that is irrelevant to someone like her. She's not doing it cuz she WANTS to be mean to people. She's doing it because she doesn't give a shit. That's what I think you gotta study a bit in terms of Leona.



I absolutely LOVED to have the fight reach that limit, where people who have nothing to do with it are butting and dealing their shares of punches and kicks! It was almost like a war!

Hmm... well, judging strictly by what happened (and not ur biased perception of Leona), Leona didn't get "pwned" by anyone in this episode; Vice came close, but if you ask me and Lara, she was still one step ahead of him.

Elandra did a flawless job of evasion, I need to give her that. But same thing as Akio applies to her: as good as she is, she knows the high possibility of falling if fighting against Vice and Leona in tag-team. She held her own for as long as she could escaping Leona's blades, until Vice sped things up by knocking Elandra off-balance and allowing Leona to finish her so their fight could continue.

Luther is powerful as hell, but not invincible . Even he can't leave the scene unscratched when facing a raging bitch with a surpassed anger level like Leona. You saw her, Leona flipped out when Vice was going to escape with his life. She lost it!!! Her temper rose to an unebelievable level, and (due to the fact that she dont give a shit), she let Luther have it as best she could, lol.



If you hadn't give me a perfect score in every possible way for this episode, I would have located you and poked your eye with an eraser. This episode took the life out of me, it was soooo hard writing this particular one just because of its sheer size, content, and making everything look and feel as alive and eventful as possible. I deserve at least to look at a number 10

Very curious to see who's gonna take this one!

My vote goes to Mace! I f*cking love (as much as one can love a fictional character) Logan and Donnovan, but I think Mace takes the cake just because he stands out to me in a lot of ways. First of all, he's the one character who is least likely to be doing everything that he's doing in Earth's name. He came into Dimentia with one and only one goal: to find out why his father had to die in an otherwise peaceful competition. But he showed impressive bravery and an iron will when he set that burning desire aside and turned his attention to a very likely threat to Earth's future: a threat that only one other being in existance sees coming. Basically, he's the one guy who didn't HAVE to undertake Pyrros's mission; and yet here he is, ready to risk his life for something greater than revenge.

But that's just me! You could agree with me, but will you? Cast your vote as soon as you can, and I'll close the poll once we have enough.

Anyway I voted fo Logan Lotus! Here's why:

To me, Logan has grown into a magnificent character from what he was intentionally. Originally just the "Humor" character, he has develeloped far beyond that, and into a pretty well rounded character.

His Heart and his Courage surpass many others. His love for Homeworld and his Sister is the fuel that drives this great warrior to combat.

He's proven his strength and Courage by standing up against the his "Uncle", the Evil Emperor Luther, and by persuing and besting the hideous creature Viro.

Not only that, but his overall looks, moves, and dialouge have been outstandingly present throughout the Series, IMO.

Well thats why I voted for him...honestly this was a Very Hard decision for me...Sorry Mace...sorry Donnovan...please don't be Mad.
