My characters died like six days ago of age related complications. No worries, their corpses are still competing.

Eh, I threw that batch of ideas at them just for the love of contributing to one of my favorite franchises, with only the hope that they would listen and maybe use use something I suggested. If I had any intent to profit from it I would definitely have tried the more proper channels. The only thing that really disappoints me is that if they did take my suggestion and go with it, I'd have liked to have gotten some small word of acknowledgement. "Hey, that sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the tip, we'll look into it!" Something like that. But in today's legal world such a simple, honest, friendly exchange could never be, because of all the people in the system who are just out to get something.

Personality I'm pretty proud of my character this year, she won every single public vote she was in.

Will there be powers we've never seen in the game?

I must say I very much enjoyed your character, The Simberleen.

She's actually one of the KAK VII entries I plan on making when I get Soulcalibur V, along with Eastwind, Luren & Uresula, my dear Persephone, of course, and Rik'Ki.

Not to seem impatient, but I still look forward to your beatdowns, Umbra.

Define "brief break"? Will the kontest kontinue in April? Hopefully most people are still pumped about 2012's Kreate-A-Kharacter Kontest, which was put on hiatus since the end of January. All I know is that a favorite (or favorites) has (or have) emerged, and the character(s) actually deserve(s) to win because he or she fits into the MK mold.

Sorry guys. I've been caught up with writing various articles, a contest I'm hosting elsewhere, working on the company website at my new job, other personal hurdles, and a whole mess of random etc. crap that keeps popping up. At this point the best I can do is promise that I'll try. And put off making that promise for another day....

In the meantime, how about we all do something simple and fun?

For several weeks all of our characters have been standing around in this arena reeling their heads in a FINISH HIM! daze (FINISH HER! for the ladies) while they die a prolonged and torturous death by starvation, thirst, and that particularly bleak sort of depression that comes from no longer having any sense of purpose. The hope of absolution grows dimmer with each passing day, and so it becomes clear that there is only one way to escape....

HARA-KIRI

So, in order to find final relief from this perpetual suffering, how does your character commit suicide? And let's make these deaths glorious -- lame stuff like derping yourself in half, landing a Special Olympics-worthy derpflip, or falling derp-first with your ass sticking in the air is barely worth the effort. If you're going to cheat your opponent out of an awesome Fatality and say "Fuck you, I can kill myself harder than you ever could!" then you'd better do it with style.

I'll go first. See you on the other side.

Eastwind: Summons his obsidian machete and plunges it into his gut. Spreading out from the wound, his flesh dissolves into fine dust that drifts away in the breeze. He chokes and gasps as his flesh erodes away; his exposed skeleton wobbles and falls to its knees. When the last bit of flesh is stripped clean the skeleton collapses into a pile of bones. HARA-KIRI

here's 2 hari - kari's i created for my character.

Hari – Kari 1 Cut Throat: She says to her opponent you shall not get the chance to kill me. So she pulls out a hunting knife and slices her throat. Blood sprays out and she falls to the ground in a pool of her own blood.

Hari – Kari 2 Burn Her: She says go to hell and pulls out a lighter and sets herself a blaze.

PHANTOM HARA-KIRI

Phantom starts by taking his sword and chhopping off his tail. In agony, his plasma dissolves the handle, seperating th blade into two. While in pain, plasma needles fly from Phantom towards his best opponent-
Rik' 'Ki! Instead of plunging into the enemy, however, they twirl around them, and fly back at Phantom. Along with them, the two swords dollow, and the, a massive armored scorpion tail. The plasma needles, again, do not penetrate the target, but form a solid wall behind Phantom. The two swords pin Phantom to this wall as he says in his mangled-demonic voice "this is like my bio. Thanks, maker." The tail flies through him, and destroys the wall of plasma in a glorious explosion. The tail sits inside Phantom and blood pours from his gut. Plasma begins to fall from the sky as we hear Shao Kahn utter the words "Hara-Kiri!"

PERSEPHONE'S HARA-KIRI

Drowning in Melancholy: Persephone projects a bolt of energy that takes the form of a tiny shpere of water. The sphere then grows to a tremendous size, consuming Persephone in the process. Finally, Persephone gracefully lies in a sleeping position, shaking slightly as she drowns in the sphere.

Face Palm

Neuros winds up for a mighty punch at his dizzy opponent. But as he throws out his fist, it rifts away back to the elbow and his arm disappears. The fist explodes from his face, blowing out chunks of skull and gore from the inside. His mask flies off and bounces off the opponent’s face. Neuros stumbles and falls backwards, dead.

“Neuros Wins...”

The camera moves in on Neuros. The mask lands neatly in the open hand hanging out of his face.

“HARA-KIRI”

Hehehehe...

URESULA HARA KIRI! The caps make it especial.

Summons a giant fish from the watery portal where her other animal spirits come from. It leaps high into the air and gobbles her up in one bite on the way back down...

OR!

She takes the blade of her harpoon and begins violently sawing away at her scalp until her gargantuan bulbous bouffant falls off. Having scalped herself, she writhes on the floor until she dies of shock. The large mass of hair sits glumly in a pool of its former owner's blood.

OR!

Luren ties the rope attached to the end of the harpoon around his neck, then plants the harpoon firmly in the ground. He jumps, then he double jumps! Then the rope pulls tightly around his neck, snapping it and reverse hanging him. It's like upside down gallows, heh. An owl swoops down and begins pecking at his delicious, nutritious, blue eyes.

....

I'm starting to think the reason the tournament has been postponed for so long is because one or more of the prizes fell through.

Well, I don't care for the prizes. I just like seeing all the cool characters and sharing my own.

If any, the only prize I ever thought of is JAX007's artwork of the winning entry, and even that I can do without. I just wanna see how the tournament turns out.

And I'm still super psyched for KAK8. I already have my entry done!

Comedy of errors, but this wasn't one of them. (That was actually one of the major reasons the contest didn't start much sooner.)

Back on track now. Keep eyes peeled for finals sooner than later.

Kira wells up acid around her opponent that merely only dissolves the clothing off, down to the underwear, causing him or her to run away embarrassed. Because the nudity option would be getting me beaten IRL.

I say you'll never see it b/c given the turn my life has taken, and me not being able to get online all that much or even for that long at a time, I won't be around to vote. NOR DO I CARE ANYMORE.

So let me make this all simple for everyone and officially exit the contest and remove Kira.

Persephone's Friendship
Persephone crouches far to the ground. Then, she leaps into the air in a cliché "Springtime" fashion. She continues hop up and down, and she shouts, "Look! I can jump afterall!"

Friendship 1 Let’s Play Darts: She creates a target and pulls out a bunch of darts from her belt and has a nice game of darts with her opponent.

Friendship 2 Water Tag Duo: She gives her opponent a Super Soaker and they play a nice game of water tag.

Ah, DJ. Every party has one.

Your Hara-Kiris and Friendships are awesome and hilarious, everyone. Where all the other party people at?

Friendship: The Simberleen approaches her opponent, gives them a reassuring hug, and produces a card. She accidentally coughs blood across ot before handing it to them. It reads 'Get well soon'.

Hara-Kiri: this one stumped me, any ideas for a suicide maneuver for an entity that is continually breaking down it's own body anyway?

Friendship:

Ekimaru lights a cigar for his opponent, gives him a high five and then out of the blue , SLAPS him in the friggin' face, saying:


Smoking kills, brah!

Hara-Kiri (silly style): Just before the final blow of the opponent Ekimaru says :

Fuck it...

He then gives the finger to the sky above. A bright beam descends evaporating his body into dust.
