Hello there : ) . I have decided to start a thread on rips of 3D animations from the 3D series of MK games . I guess I will start off now , not perfect because there are shadows in the way :P , but here are Mortal Kombat Unchained/Deception sprite animation of Hotaru EX Ba Shan Fan style and Baraka Silat style .

Ohhh I'm gonna love this.

One question is, will these get bigger? Can I have them bigger? I love taking these things and putting them in peoples sigs and avatars and so on. But I manipulate them sometimes so I might need them bigger to start..

That looks crazy seeing that monotonous movement like that. Hm..
I mind as well ask it, how tough will it be to get the combos?

Depends , If I can find a cheat of how the zoom works , and how the character stays at position , not hard much at all .

Awesome idea man, they look great. What did you use to rip those 3D models? I'll give it a try since I can really see this concept taking off. I got a psp and MK Unchained, however you probably need the rom on your PC's HDD right?

i think there is a slight glitch in the fire ball animation, it appears to jump up a few pixels about half way through. other than that, great work

Yea , I kinda noticed it myself . I don't know if I should manually move it down with my animator program . Doing it again is hard enough , I still need to find codes like removing lifebar Completely , remove martial art names below , and turn P1 or P2 Invisible , then this would be no problem .

I was gonna try to fix that glitch and put Hotaru in it. But I just realize I have never done a GIF with the transparent background. Do you know the trick to it? I got ULEAD GIF Animator.

That GIF fireball is not transparent , it is using black background and there is a reason for it . If your using flash , use the screen filter on the animation and the animation will blend almost perfect like MKD/U displays .

Here's one attempt.



The animation gravitates upward naturally. Nothing I could do about that unless I edit the frames individually. Not something I wanna do right now anyway, aheh. Looks like if we were to cut some of the surrounding "black" off the image per frame it wouldn't gravitate. The "jump" in the animation is out though.

Try later maybe? Dunno about that...But yea, there's one attempt.
Oh great work man! Now I have a study reference for spriting.

Can't wait for the MKM rips to roll in. I fucking love MKM. That's why I sprited the Lin Kuei Grandmaster. ^o^

As requested , I will do Jax animation next sometime . The next time I post expect all Jax animation stances , both original costume and EX costume . It may be another week or so , but if I don't get too busy , probably less then a week .

Just around the time some thought that I won't post any rips , I am now returning to the rips , and as promise , here is the Jax EX stance animations EDIT : Sorry for not getting in Jax animations . Working on this now .

New : Fixed up his Nan Chuan fighting stance , now it looks much better :D

Mid : Well I finally finished the Raiden stance animations , but like in the bottom , the alpha layered parts of the cape has been replaced with black , but it looks good to me imo . Enjoy the finished stance animation set of Raiden . More to kome ! ( Most likely Havik , I think I will do both original and alternate , as I like the alternate the most ) . I also notice , that the first animation looks somewhat different , I will see if I can change it sometime in the future .
OLD : Another update , but just one animation of Raiden's stance . It seems that his cape's lower area is alpha layered , and is difficult to rip , so I have to replace it with Black . I'll keep editing this page till I get the 3 standing animations .
