You would think, but it seem they have gone out of their way to make the teeth ugly. Why would you do that if you are going to replace them with CGI. In LoTR the mouth of sauron guy had bad teeth, but those were his real teeth and Peter Jackson didn't realize he wanted to touch them up until after he watched a rough cut.

Film makers should just make two masks... one with the mouth closed, and one with the mouth open and the face all scrunched up and angry looking. Put it on the actor two different times... then let the cg guys interpret and create rest of the facial expressions in-between.

Many do that. That's what was done with Venom in Spider-Man 3.

well he definitely looks nasty, which is good. The hair struck me odd but the only thing im concerned with is the teeth, thats like a signature trait of a tartakan, he needs fangs at least! And now that is especially important with Mileena having some DNA of tartakans. I think it showed her in another screenie but i don't think she had teeth issues.

Ah well, I still wanna see how it turns out!grin
