In the next MK, should they make characters like Baraka and Kintaro using Green Screen or Motion Kapture or 3D Animation...?

Ok.So i was thinking that maby your approaching this the wrong way.All the games still use green screen technolagy. If you are refering to the old way they did it on MK1-T, then they wouldnt do it,it would be a down step.I meen think about it: to this: you think they would want to step back to the first one? No.But they could use actual pictures of humans to play with.I meen human humans.Like you and me.Asclear as you and me.Just a thought.I hope this has helped.grin

We're actually talking about the movies here, Sharpeye, not the games.

Anyway, any creature will obviously be either CGI or a big prop.

The dragon in "Eragon" for characters like:

Onaga
The Shokans
Moloch

Other characters like Baraka, Meat, the C/Khameleons(including Reptile), Drahmin, or Havik should be hybrids to a considerable extent. Actual actors, but then definately effected by cg. Not full cg characters here.

Barakas face should be an exaggeration of the actual actors...kinda like Dracula in Blade Trinity. It should not at all look like the one in Mk Ann. You could tell it was a mask..Anyway, in motion, cg would take over. I think they could also just use "Predator vs Alien" as a big influence here.
Meat might actually be a full cg character, but who wants him in a movie anyway?
It'd be interesting to see the Reptile characters(c/khameleons) But I think they would//should perform alot like Mystique in "X-Men".
Haviks face would be like "Ghost Riders", just covered in goopy blood and decaying flesh. Mix Meat and Havik and you got Drahmin( and slap a mask on him)

For Motaro, he should look almost exactly like the centaurs in that "Narnia" movie. "Real" in appearance and in function, but obviously a fictional character. Computer Graphics for a "man-horse" should only "naturalize" him.
I hated the body suit of whatever that was in Mk Annihilation.

Blaze should be a bigger bad-er interpretation of the Human Tourch...without as much of the "flames". I'd say, go get a big wrestler type dude, super size him, and ad the affects. He should like, drip lava though.

For the rest of the characters, it would depend on what they're doing or what their powers are. Gods and Grandmasters, when using their powers, should either affect or source the environment around them.... Raidens lightining=affects, Sub Zeros ice=sources.

And martial arts shouldn't really be more than brushed on by cg or mo cap. The movie would end up looking like Mortal Kombat with influences from movies like: "The Matrix", "Jet Li's Hero", um....."Master of the Flying Guillotine". With a pinch of say "Harry Potter", or "Narnia", or that "Eragon" movie.

Fighting(exaggerated martial arts.//special effects and super powers), Fantasy(scenery and some story influence), and finishers(blood and gore would logically make this a rated R movie).
