All I can say to that is...

They are likely doing interiors on the studio lot (which makes sense). I cannot speak anymore about Scorpion without giving it away.

HALFWAY THROUGH PRODUCTION!

Time has flew by and FINALLY this week we get a sold photo from the set that I can CLEARLY identify as officially being a part of the 11/18 draft.

Which konfirms a lot of that draft is making its way to the final cut!

What are we seeing in this photo?

A plane... that appears in the middle of the film... I won't tell anymore as to who is flying the plane, who is on the plane, or why it is hoisted into the air ... But I am happy with this.

10/26 Update:

Wow, we are finally getting more revealing photos (at least to those of us who have script drafts) and I must say I am happy.

Mehcad Brooks celebrated his birthday with some of the cast and if you don't know by now, secret is out, I am posting a photo from SiSi with the address to send fan mail to the cast and crew.

As for the new photo by Todd Gardner showing a tunnel... still looking like this is being filmed as close to script order and by location as possible.

It's too early to speculate... but I wonder how much the Australian vibe is going to affect the appearance of this film? Will we know it's Australia... or could it be any desert, like Jordan, where Annihilation was filmed. Will we see a lot of the clothes we expect Australians to wear that the crew members are wearing? Will this have a Mad Max feel? Obviously a desert is ripe for Outworld... and the 1995 film was filmed at an abandoned raceway in ruins for Outworld (Fontana I believe). With that said, the tunnel isn't a stage from any game I know of. Although the games did have the actual location as a stage (think 3D era) this location will be vastly different - it is no longer in the sky but throughout a tunnel.

Definitely appears Rayden, Scorpion joined the cast and crew of Sonya, Jax, Mileena, Lewis Tan, and Sub-Zero, and Kung Lao and Liu Kang. I haven't seen Shang Tsung or Kano but I know Kano is there.

Todd Gardner is slowly leaking set photos, Greg Russo isn't sharing new info, and we have not heard from Simon Quoid. At all.

No matter the amount of free PR stuff Gorostillives is doing, this movie is going to be worse than mk Annihilation.

Personally, I don't see a single person on this world caring for a shitty Cole Turner more than a Johnny Cage.

Don't make changes where they are unnecessary. Don't fix what ain't broken. Give Johnny Cage or cancel this shitty movie with mediocre actors and even worse script and production values. And no, there is not going to be a sequel to this shit, so don't play the "more characters in the sequel" card with me.

Everyone knows he's Cole. His last name isn't Turner. Hate to burst your bubble but there were already plans for a sequel... and a Universe of films. This film is a two-parter so there's always more room for more characters to be included.

Trust me. There is going to be more fans happy with this than upset. It's a new era. And new eras call for a modernized adaptation of the story. It's still the same MK rules, just a few surprises added to make it interesting. And to make it adaptable to changes in the future.

Who said it was rewritten? The rewrite you heard about was just a fan's interpretation about the differences the 2016 script draft and 11/2018 script. Everything I have read in the 11/18 script, with the exception of the MMA fight scene, is proving to be true. Add to the fact Lewis Tan regularly posts from set and it's pretty much on board. This is NOT Kevin T's script where Liu Kang worked in a grocery store, BTW. Liu Kang is not the main character, yet. This is more of a "reboot franchise" with this film as the prequel to an immediate sequel.

I just realized you're from Italy... This film will fare much better throughout Australia, Asia, even the UK... and most of Europe, and North America than Italy. Italy is just the "boot" of the world and cannot speak for the rest of us.

Week 7 Begins:

Josh Lawson is there and a recent photo for Mehcad Brook's birthday confirms, at least, SiSi, Name,, Max, Ludi, Tan, Taslim are there with no Rayden, Scorpion, or Shang Tsung in sight.

However, there was a leaked photo from Reddit claiming that the hashtag "cole' was in Taslim's original post. Looking at the photo I have determined that was fake, especially since both a different font and font size were used than you see in the rest of the hashtags.
