We need more leaks

Nothing major that wasn't already said, but still a lil something.

I say everyone has a right to express their views and opinions, even if it involves complaints.

Now, excessive complaining can indeed become annoying (I'm not saying you are, though). There's this one user over at Serebii.net who complains about every Pokémon game released, and it begs me to wonder why he even bothers playing these games. That's when I say the complaints have gone too far. I elected not to buy MKX for that reason; my complaints outweighed any reason for me continue onward. I still feel MKX is the worst game of the series, but I certainly won't make a grand fuss of it. What good would it do me now?

Above all else, we should all remember this: our wallets speak louder than our voices. If you don't like the game, just don't buy it. However, we all still have the right to voice how we feel in the meantime.

Meh, I’m good with knowing the roster. Some confirmation on “secret” characters would be nice. Otherwise I gotta believe the next thing to start leaking out is story details and I’m not trying to get spoiled on those.

but like that person you mention who complains about every pokemon game, you can say the same thing to those who complain about every mk game that has been release mostly being cause of the roster

and yes you are right if you don't like the games being released then don't buy it no one is putting a gun to your head forcing you, it's your money and you can choose to do whatever, that is my moto for a lot of stuff if i don't like that movie/tv series i will not watch it, but i will not bash you for liking it or seeing it

people on tym are literally fighting over the image of Kotal being either the model of Liu Kang or Kotaland it was bad here too with certain arguments

i'm just wanting to see more images i want to see what Jacqui, Frost, Kollector and them look like in full body image, i just don't want any secret unlockables people (who they are exactly) or story mode info leaked, but i mean i can skip those no problem but i'm just waiting for more images

If anything, there should be even more female characters. Give me Ashrah, Li Mei, Kira, Sindel, Mileena, Sareena, Sheeva, girl Shujinko, Liucy Kang, Jenny Cage.

What's the problem people have with SF? If the old TV/Hollywood trope that Earth = America is the problem, say it. It's ok, it's a valid argument. Maybe try suggesting a cultural fighter or other country's forces you'd like to see represented.

I find the leak images hard to make out. I had bad vision before I lost an eye... I've seen masked & unmasked versions of the various chars. The select screen pics are cropped cut/pasted into the grid. Whether they're actual game models or fake renders, the way it's done looks fake & unprofessional. Since they seem to be taken from kustomization screens, are we even sure those are Cetrion & Kollektor's real colors? I'd like to see better/clearer images of them. Noob's outfit looked great.

There are two select screen pictures. One (which I believe is in the middle of page 1 of this thread) looks like a fairly legitimate photograph of the select screen. The other (which sounds like the one you're describing) was in the original post of this thread, and appears to have been photoshopped using portraits from the other one (blown up and re-arranged for greater clarity)

So yes, one is absolutely photoshopped, but it's photoshopped from another, more legitimate looking select screen. Someone just felt the need to re-arrange them.

Yeah, I wonder what Kollector collects and how does he tie in with the story? What are his motivations? From other rumours he is a cyborg but I can not see that from the picture. If he was a cyborg he looks nothing like anything in the MK universe. Maybe Kollector is from the future? I am intrigued.

Maybe he is just partially cyber ?

I heard he gonna be collecting organs... But this is only a rumour.

Well... i have two things to mentioned:

1. is a little complain.... i don't like the colour blue in MK11. To many Kharacters got it... Maybe they add to Mortal Kombat 11: The Smurf Attacks :/

2. how will NRS handle this situation? Do they stick to their plan of revealing Kharacters like they would before the leak or do they change the method now?

what did they do when mkx and inj2 roster was fully leaked/revealed?

i think if they mention it they will quickly bring it up during a kombat kast either by denying it calling it a fake so they can cover their asses
or they will address it in a 'yeah you saw the characters k so on to Kano gameplay' and be kinda douchebag about it by saying things under their breath kind of attitude oooor they will ignore it altogether and continue on with what they have been doing, no one really knows

i don't remember how mkx roster was fully leaked back then i just remember seeing all the gameplay reveal videos and was like Cool Quan Chi is in, Oh Cool Johnny, Sonya, etc etc are in i of course was super excited when my friend showed me Kitana's trailer but i was excited to see everyone and just curious to know who the new characters were

but it's NRS they can go any which way they want with stuff, we as the fans will have to wait and see what they do

my only gr with them is they are ruining the fatalities for me in their kombat kast, i try to not look but then i see the aftermath i'd like to be surprise with their fatalities and when inj was out their supers, i rather they tease the fatalities and not sure the full thing cause then whats the point of doing them when you play the game, that's my only complain about what they been doing with the reveals

Kinda looks like too much blue on the select screen. Frost, Centrion(I know I butchered her name), The Kollector, Kotal, Sub-Zero.

Li Mei is basically Liucy Kang and Cassie is basically Jenny Cage.

I want Li Mei, Sareena, and Nitara as DLC. Sindel too, her fans were teased way too much in MKX.

I of course want Tanya in too, I mean you have Kitana, Mileena, Jade, Skarlet, Frost, and yet no Tanya for absolute historic perfection? But her chances are very low considering they don't tend to repeat DLC...pity.

So maybe save Ashrah, Sheeva, Kira and Tanya for MK12.

On that note, I feel this roster lacks Green. I mean I know there's some, chiefly Jade, but in a land without Reptile, our Green quotient took a big hit right off the bat. Add to that the fact that Sonya used to be one of the most chiefly green characters in this franchise, yet in the latest sequels she's gravitated more and more toward dull neutrals and blues. Even among her alt costumes, there's only one I've seen that's predominantly green.

I feel like this roster is hurting for green.

I would have said it needs more red, but all the characters will be splashed in it eventually.

I know you're being sarcastic right now, but I actually do think the lack diversity when it comes to character pallets has been a bit of an issue in the last two MK games.

Red and black was a very prominent color when it came to character design in MK9 almost giving a lot of characters this odd sense of uniformity, and then in MKX black and...uh, you know what, even when they did use color it was so desaturated I can't remember anything beyond grey and brown in MKX.

But you get my point. Or probably not. This shiz just sticks out to me.

Lol, Mostly black with red accents is my favorite color palette so I'm surprised Ermac isn't higher on my list of favs. If Scorpion wore his colors, Kitana wore Scarlet's, and Johnny was in his MK1 or 2P version from MK2+ I'd be set. Here's hoping for some nice Black/Red shaders to mix up all that blue (my least favorite color besides brown, lol).

Sub, Kitana, Frost, and Kotal get a pass for always being blue. As for the new ones... I have a small suspicion that they might be cosmic beings of some sort, on par with Kronika.

Kronika treats Shinnok('s severed head) with the condescending tone of a being that equals or supersedes the Elder Gods in the universal pecking order. Kinda like the Fates of Greek mythology, to whom even the gods occasionally had to answer. "The Kollector" sounds like the name of someone who could also be one of these beings -- perhaps being a guardian of the Heavens to whom all souls return, or having some other cosmic-scale influence. "Cetrion" sounds like a name fitting for some sort of arch-deity as well. Her design has at least a cursory resemblance to the Dream Lady; otherwise, the greenery in her design could indicate that she's a force from which all life springs, or something like that.

If these characters do represent primordial forces like Kronika does, then maybe blue blood and/or blue energy is something they have in common? The Jinsei fountain, after all, was blue -- and it had the power to rejuvenate gods and transform an Elder God into a stronger form. It also represented the lifeblood of the realm even though soul energy is depicted as green, setting it apart as being of a "higher power" than mere souls.

It would be... a little weird if all the new characters in this Mortal Kombat were uber-gods with powers way above the pay grade for any mortal to stand against, though.

Now that I think about it, between Jade and Reptile, the roster of every non-antholology game seems to only have room for one green character at a time.

... It's not easy, apparently.

Huh, shit, you're actually right. I think the closest we ever get to two characters who share the green pallet is MK2 but I'm not even sure we can count that because Jade wasn't playable?

That is if UMK3 counts as an anthology game?
