I’m not fully buying into these images. I believe the roster itself is probably accurate (and lame) but the select screen looks kinda fake to me. It doesn’t even match the ones we’ve seen in recent videos. I could be very wrong here but I think the Noob image might just be a customized Sub-Zero and where it says Noob Saibot is where you name the variation.

Except that no sub zero gear in the videos (we seen all of them) matches that Noob saibot outfit. You cannot rename the variation or character name on that slot and it says "sickles" and "shadows" as he has skins for those too. It looks legit to me. The game still lacks lots of ninjas and a cyborg. That feels missing still and Sareena/Reiko/Havik/Fujin.... You need at least ONE of those to be DLC, just one! I wanna see how that turns out and Havik has a story with all this chaos going on in the timelines. He can be instructed to create havik in certain timelines so that Shinnok can win etc.

There's a few more pics floating around. Liu Kang and two others outside what's being shown. I definitely think this ones full on legit

I still maintain a healthy dose of skepticism regarding these leaks here but... alot of this does look legit, and should it be legit, I'm very content with this roster, and am so excited for April 23rd.

I was already happy with how things have been going. Particularly, in terms of characters I want to play with, Johnny Cage, Skarlett and Geras.

If this turns out to be what the roster is... wow. Especially the inclusion of both Shang Tsung AND Shinnok. These two powerful sorcerers have only ever shared one game - MK7 - and that wasn't a great representation there. This game, I can only imagine how fun that dynamic would be. What would they say to each other? How did Shinnok get reattacched (or... is this Shinnok from the original timeline! The one who survived Armageddon!!)?s

Also, Reiko! If he's in, be it DLC... that would be outstanding!

Fair enough on the gear system. I haven’t seen everything for Sub-Zero so I’ll take your word on that. As for the select screen though I’m still calling fake. The top half just looks bad compared to the bottom. If you zoom in you can clearly see it was a cut and paste job and not a very good one.

Sucks for Netherrealm, but shit happens. Can't keep anything secret for long these days

I figured the beta would probably reveal just about everyone anyway, otherwise they'd be missing out on tons of balance/glitch data from the missing characters that would be smart to patch up on launch day. I'd only expect secret unlockable characters to be off the beta (secret, as opposed to characters like MKX Shinnok who are known to be on the roster but are locked behind the story mode completion).

I wouldn't be too shocked to learn that at least some of these developer-side "leaks" are actually viral marketing.

If we're thinking that this leak gives credibility to the previous rumor that Mileena, Shang Tsung, and Shinnok are also on the roster, then I have a question. In Johnny's Kombat Kast we see an intro dialogue with Skarlet that goes....

JC: "So I'm guessing you wanna chew me up."

SK: "And spit out your bones, Cage."

JC: "Watch out, she's a maneater."

At the time, this sounded like a dialogue they had on the brainstorming board for Johnny and Mileena (obvious reasons) but they gave it to Skarlet after deciding to leave Mileena off the roster. So... if Mileena is on the roster, this exchange is going to sound rather out of place.

Option 1, that part of the rumor was wrong despite being right about other things. Option 2, this intro was a red herring to throw us off the trail that Mileena is in, if she's supposed to be a secret unlockable. (Unlikely, perhaps, because it would have taken a good deal of coordination to get that intro to play during the Kast.) Option 3, they done fucked it up.

No Reptile or Mileena but y'know what? This ain't a bad roster, Kollector looks interesting too.

No doubt. Especially if in this case Mileena was a late addition to the roster. That sort of mix-up could easily happen, more than once.

With the return of" mk3 stuff "hope we get a umk3 dlc pack where it adds some fighters like sindel and nightwolf for example etc and everyones umk3 skins . Only one can hope .

All I know for sure is that if Frost is in, I'm all in. And I'm not too worried about the hair situation. That's where the gear system comes in. If it's anything like Injustice 2 (and all signs point to that it is) there will be all kinds of modifications.

This roster looks....incredibly disappointing the lack of 3D era faces, the lack of Rain, Smoke, Reptile, Ermac, (Jade, Skarlet & Frost being the only stand outs to me). I don't see myself getting excited for the new characters knowing most will be abandoned by MK12. It just feels like to me personally all the air has been let out of the MK11 balloon, I'll 100% be waiting for the Komplete Edition to get a price drop before I buy, However i'm happy for all the fans that got their most requested characters in and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions when the game releases I'll more than likely live vicariously through Twitch

One of the biggest draws to MK for a lot of people is the characters and the story. Having a character only playable via DLC (or not at all) indicates they have little-to-nothing to do with the main plot. Which sucks for fans of those characters. It's also kinda odd for certain characters like Fujin and Bo'Rai Cho to be absent when you'd think they'd be heavily involved in a story regarding Raiden going psycho.

It's also sad when you realise Rain was more involved with the story in MKX than several playable characters combined. And a lot more desired than half the roster. The lack of Rain, and the complete lack of interest in the majority of this roster, has severely put me off getting this game.

blame the fans for wanting nothing but multiple ninjas and cyborgs just saying . i dont mind the mk x roster i can however live without jacui and takeda . stated many times wipe out all the old 90's charachters and continue with new ones . but fans dont want it they prefer nostalgia

id gladly trade charachters like kano , sonya , rain ,reptile , ermac for new ones like maybe 2 egyptian gods like set and horus ( since there going with kronika and geras from greek mythology ) , i would take belokk from mk gold who never was used despite a render existing in magazines. . id like to see kai and jarrek back from mk4
