Only one I'm dying to see is an Unmasked Sub-Zero with the scar a la MK3

You all are horribly unoriginal :/ why would you want, previous outfits for their ALT? Fuck that, I want all new, different outfits. Something we've never seen.

Well I honestly don't know how in the hell NRS can outdo Stryker's primary but hey here goes: I want some aviator shades,no hat,close cut,fuzzy but not to fuzzy beard. Some dark blue jeans and a white tanktop with a leather jacket and his badge. Basically an undercover officer :)

Liu Kang: I'm gonna assume that SF Gi he was wearing is his alt., would have like to seen his MK4 alt

Kratos: Deimos, or the armor he had in the beginning of GoW 2

Def want everybody in there mk3 would be awsome and Mileena without a mask is dumb and its not skarlett aahhh it bugs me when people say that we have no idea who she is!! and ill eat my words if im wrong!

What I'd really like to see from the main folks I use circa MK1-MKT:

Raiden - Something that looks like him, but that is really different than anything we've seen before so long as the hat stays on his head. I favor this fanart alot but, I'm not sure at all how it could translate into the actual game.

Sonya - Something really close to MKSM and MK3 mixed together really clever. Although, MKSM was pretty good stand alone. This fanart gets closest of the things I've seen to what I'm talking about. I hate the beret though. This idea is something I'd wish for too.

Noob Saibot - Something with torn garments... maybe a hooded cape sort of thing..idk exactly because they've exceeded my expectations already.

Ermac - I love this design by Aculeus for some reason. If they get close to that...I'll die.

Jade - I really like what's there now, after having a good look at her. They have exceeded my expectations with Jade like Noob Saibot, but it had a creeper effect. Took a minute to kick in fully. For her alternate, I'd like them to start with her MKD stuff, and then lean really hard on more traditional / typical female assassin wear. Cover her up, and try to give us more of the design qualities of this "Edenian Style" they seem to be pushing, instead of more skin. Still sexy, still pretty much revealing, however covered up more for the alt. This idea, or this idea might be good to experiment with.

Queen Sindel - This one is interesting actually. I think that if they went more "gothic" than "queen", and do not exclude the "fighter" aspect of her character, it could work wonderfully. Make her look more dead (since she died and that's a huge part of MK3), and have more black in her costume than the purple, although, there should still be noticeable purple and like...silver buckles and stuff on her.

This idea, this idea, and this idea (with some work to age her and so on..) might piece together a good alt for Sindel. Of course, I don' think she needs a gown. I'm more talking about an element here or there that might make sense from each of those images.

Nightwolf - Best idea for a Native American Shaman is this guy. However, I see how unreasonable he is for a fighting game...and he's too old. Following that idea is what we already have in the game, Nightwolf. I think the only good way to go with Nightwolf is to modernize him more, without letting go of heritage or shamanism. This idea, or this idea might be the best examples to go by. Color scheme should probably be primarily Black, with some kind of animal skin or fur off the shoulder, waist line somewhere, or boot rims.

Stryker - Similar to Noob Saibot, I have no clue, really. Because they've exceeded my expectations to a point where I think I wanna just see what happens. Obvious ideas are to get him really close to real life Riot Squad or even real life SWAT officers without making him look ridiculous in that sort of attire.

He doesn't need all that damn gear to be identified as such. Little to no head gear (hell, keep his hat, turn it to the back. signifying he may have just taken the helmet off, and a the hat was underneath) , tone down alot of the padding and so on... perfect MK fighter who is also a Riot Squad leader.

That's it.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were MK: Rebirth costumes for applicable characters.

Alts are always good for variety and so many characters have such good looks.

Sub-Zero - Scarred and unmasked are a must. MK3 Sub-Zero was revolutionary, even if they did mask him back up again later.

Sonya - MK3 outfit. That would make so many people happy and shut up so many people that hate the fact she's got the most amazing cleavage since Helen of Troy caused a war with hers.

Raiden - Dark Raiden. That was a very memorable look.

Shang Tsung - MK2 look. Give him those creepy, glowing white eyes back.

Robots - Predator/BMX looks for nostalgia.

For new variants, basically anything by the great ScorpionBlaze would work.

dont want joke alternates. the alternates should be a different spin on the character, not like some of the lame almost identical alts we've had in the past. they dont have to be canon, so its really an opportunity for nrs to get creative and totally reimagine a character.

honestly I think at least Scorpion will have his MKvsDCU outfit (Baraka also)

I went through deviantart.com to look for some potential alternate outfits for Jade. I'd like for her to have a more classic ninja/assassin alternate outfit with a touch of modern fantasy intepretation, like most ninja characters in nowadays videogames.

Because of the fact that NRS is a giant fuck up when it comes to making costumes. It is alot safer and better to go with costumes we already know than have them make more costumes like the Reptile "Birdman" costume.

Human form, unmasked Scorpion.

I know y'all hate the fact Scorpion is over scorpionized but I think it would be cool if he had a facial tattoo with a Scorpion wrapped around his eye. Kinda like Iron Mike Tyson. To combat the over scorpion design you would give him his retro outfit or an outfit with more of a Ninja look. Rope spear at his side. And two ninja swords on his back. Idk what to do with his hair. Maybe a Japanese style ponytail.

Anyway, I personally don't have anything against joke costumes as third or extra alternates. I doubt we would ever see Sub-Zero in a Panda costume or Scorpion in a "Dia de los Muertos" mock-up outfit, or Sonya as a mermaid....but, it would be so much fun to watch.

I wouldn't mind them as "secret fun fights" in the challenge tower (just like we see Mileena offering a Teddy).

Imagine having a mission featuring a Sonya mermaid or a Subby-Panda.
