BACK ON TOPIC, most of you can sit up in your little chairs and poke fun because your "favorite" is in the game already. Try being in our shoes. Your favorite character is not announced or acknowledged for months on end and then when you get confirmation they'll be DLC, they aren't even released first when they DESERVE to be. Yeah, some of you might be rolling your eyes because Rain doesn't mean shit to you, but that doesn't take away the fact that he DESERVED to be in the game. Boon confirmed this was all about MK1-UMK3, yes, UMK3, many of you keep trying to act like he never said that, but he clearly stated time and time again that MK'11 was all about MK1-UMK3. And even if you don't consider Rain to be an UMK3 character, what's the difference? He came before Quan Chi, Kenshi ect. He's the last MK3 era character and there was no reason to even leave him out.

I DON'T CARE if you hate him or think he's pointless, that's INSIGNIFICANT! He deserved to be in!!!! I would STILL feel this way if it was STRYKER, SHEEVA, SONYA, SUB, SHANG, or any other MK1-UMK3 character that was left out. So this isn't just a RAIN thing. This is all about fairness. He should of been the first DLC option as the last remaining MK3 character. No, I know how that feels. It still puzzles me to this day why Sektor wasn't in Deception when he played such a large story role in Deadly Alliance. Not like it mattered, because Deception was a terrible piece of shit, but I digress.

At the same time, though, you probably don't have a lot to worry about. Rain is not in any subsequent imagery for the Church arena like his original cameo. It's probably a good sign that Rain may already be in the game or is being worked on for future release.

It's more or less a guarantee that Rain will show up, even if he's delayed a bit. I'm seriously hoping this Kintaro thing is grossly misinformed and Rain is actually one of the three released if he's not already in. That way all parties get what they want.
