Says who? A muscled man holds just as much sexual power as a big-breasted/big-assed woman. You're also forgetting how women are STILL seen as inferior in other cultures. Hell, the "most" you speak about only see women as objects to begin with, so I don't know how that works in your favor...

I think that the pics in this thread are probably a little over the top. But I certainly wouldnt mind a if the MK guys were made a little "sexier". (However, I dont see how you can get much sexier than Kano in his alternate) I think it would be best if the men could be sexy but not dressed femininely. Plus there are a lot of sexy little costumes that the guys wear anyway. Like Strykers skin tight leather bodysuit in MK:A.

If NRS would attempt such a thing or would approve of something even CLOSE to this idea (which I think would NEVER happen unless they want to self-destruct in the most comical way), I'd never support, buy or play MK ever again. My answer to your question.

First off, the pictures OP posted are ridiculous. If you want the men to be sexier, take off some shirts and put on some tights. Of course then MK might start to look like the WWE...my point is that men can be sexy without being effeminate. And I'm pretty sure the idea behind being a ninja or assassin is to not show off most of one's body...granted the girls don't follow this in MK....but we all know who is running NRS, and who is being catered to.

I don't really care how much or how little anyone has on, as long as they play well and I have fun with them. I use Urien in 3rd Strike, and I never thought "omg a man in a thong gross!" I thought "wow this guy is so badass, he doesn't need to wear anything because he thinks no one can harm him! Haha awesome!" Whatever they decide to put a character in, male or female is their choice, I just hope that whichever route they go in, they make the characters look cool. For example, I don't want to see Stryker in a clown costume, and if they decide to make Sub-Zero shirtless, his shorts better be blue! If they wanted to cover Kitana up completely that's fine too, as long as they don't ditch the trademark fans

All in the while, GameFAQs, here, and several other forums....what's going on? People are talking about how hot Johnny, Kano, Jax, Smoke (have a friend who really digs Smoke), Kung Lao, Stryker, Kenshi, and Ermac's nose is.

I think we're even. Sure, I want Stryker to have a shirtless alt but....I also want make out with Stryker until I can't tell the difference between our saliva, but really...how soon is THAT going to happen?

On topic , though, I don't really see the need. Several of the female's costumes I roll my eyes at, too. (I'm looking at you, Sonya!) I suppose if it makes sense for the character, it'd be okay, but not many of the male fighters can I picture fighting in something really skimpy. Maybe Johnny in a banana hammock for a super unlockable costume. >_>
