I thought the soundtrack was actually pretty rad back when it came out. It had Megadeth and Rammstein on it. It's just that the few good songs were in the end credits instead of actual scenes.

smoke's dad should be the grandmaster, when subby and smoke escape his dad wants sektor and cyrax to capture smoke and kill sub-zero, sektor plans on killing them both and then framing cyrax, thus giving him the means to take over the clan easier.

in smoke's ending the grandmaster chases the two friends down and attacks subby, in a fit of rage smoke breaks his father's neck

and smoke should look like a mixture between his MKD alt and his MKSM costume

I would like that. Even if it doesn't end up being a Liu-Kitana style romance but atleast friends that will team up and help each other [She could help him escape in MK3 preventing his automation and he could battle Reptile so Jade can get to Kitana and help her reach Sindel ]

Human-Smoke-4-ever, that's exactly what I want,Jade and Smoke to have something on their own,that's why I think their pairing is amazing in my opinion,it will open another look at these characters. I just don't want to mess with Jade at the time,when she learned about her friend/ally/lover being turned into mindless machine. DAMN,SHE WILL BE MAAAD! :D:D

The whole Jade/Smoke thing is because both of them showed up in the Living Forest in MK2. So some fans think it might've been cool to see their first interaction with one another there. I never really gave it much thought. But if the two ever had some kind of tie, friendship or otherwise, I think Smoke's eventual, and tragic automation would serve as something that could at least add some interest to the two of them. How would Jade deal with knowing that her supposed friend, has at the time become a soulless killing machine?

Personally, I'm inclined to think that if a human sent to Outworld to assassinate Shang ran into one of Kahn's assassins, while both were wandering a forest, the most logical thing for them to do isn't become friends, it's to beat the crap out of each other.

Not that I'm completely against some sort of Smoke/Jade character connection, I'm just sayin', how you gonna make it make sense?

I personally think Jade has enough potential to make her story interesting without her having to be relegated to yet another player in the Smoke drama.

Well sure, it can happen when it makes sense for the personalities involved and what they're fighting for. i.e. Catwoman constantly flirting with Batman.

In this particular case, still lacking the "how"s and "why"s, though.

There's actually no proof within the games that Sonya and Johnny are anything more than allies. The movies implied it, which is a seperate storyline.

I'm interested to see what happens to Smoke, would be cool if he somehow got stranded in Outworld during the events of MK2 and only returned to Earthrealm after the Automation process occured. Presumed dead by the Lin Kuei, he could then be a free agent capable of forming his own alliances.

ok so ppl like my idea of jade <3 smoke romance..i think if should be like a forbidden love thing like romeo and juliet or a muslim woman and a non-muslim guy (big no-no btw)..for ex jade would say edeninans can't be with a non-edenian (similar to what a muslim woman would say to a non-muslim man)..but smoke is in love with her beauty and tries it with her lol..player right there lol

Thanks. It would be great to have them have a connection beyond their BFFs. She can factor into his escape from automation if he does stay Human this time [You can never take Boon at his word. He's worse than a Politician.] or if he still becomes a Cyborg she could help Kuai overcome them [Smoke,Cyrax and Sektor] and help Kuai restore Smoke's soul and memories [assuming he doesn't become a trophy again ] and help them take down the Grandmasters for performing this abomination on their warriors.

There are some very good Smoke ideas in here, I must say. Though, I am not very fond of the Smoke/Jade coupling. It didn't really work for Liu Kang and Kitana, so I doubt it will work for them either. And it doesn't really make sense. Why would they fall in love? To make a romance sounds just as cheap an attempt to make either of them interesting like when pitting two characters up against eachother in a rivalry (Jade/Tanya).

I prefer Smoke to become automated against his will, giving Subbie a grudge against the Lin Kuei. Also, I love the whole Noob/Smoke team, Noob using Smoke to become more demonic/elemental (my favourite version of Smoke is his MKD-MKA form). If Smoke could become more elemental earlier on, I would be all in for that. His appearance in MK:SM looks cool as well, with his dark grey skin. It shows that he is already on his way to become one with his powers.

You know looking back on that Smoke, I wish I had given him a cloth mask, I almost feel like editing that (maybe I will, lol). The plastic looking one just dont fit the traditional ninja uniform.
