I think the one good thing that came from MKDC for me was the story mode. Even though I hated the story in MKDC, they're using that and tying it into this game. It looks like it'll be really cool.

It hasn't been hard to animate 3d hair since fucking Monsters Inc. They just need a better game engine or better designers.

I think the voice acting sounds spot-on for how the character of Liu Kang would talk. I'm not sure what the people who don't like it are even looking for.
I also think the people who're worried about whether or not Sindel will have her hair moves are forgetting that this is not Deadly Alliance Sonya Doesn't Have A Leg Grab And Cyrax Has No Net Time, it's MK9 Everybody Gets Their Classic Moves Back Time. Everybody means Everybody.

Any ideas for what Arena Liu Kang and Johnny Cage are talking in? Doesn't look like Shangs Garden or one that we've seen before.

I think they just were too worried about the realism of blood and puke spatters to take the time on a silly little thing like HAIR and making the characters with long hair, you know, actually look good. Way to completely lose focus on what's important NRS.

anyone notice at the end of the video when liu kang is fighting subzero right before his xray he does like a little flip over the top.. but right before the flip a green circle appears below him... any thoughts to why that green circle appears? some super duper move?

Yeah, that scene looks like outside the armory. Look at the weapons racks outside that hut back there.

The Armory is in Outworld, Shang Tsung's island is in Earthrealm.

Liu looks ugly! His costume upgrade is cool, but he's a complete
butterface now. I think it's his nose that ruins the look of his face,
it just appears oddly shaped. I wish they had modeled his facial

I disagree. Jarek's "ADEEEYOOAWKAAAAAAYYYYYYY!" was the best bit of voice acting ever recorded in the history of voice acting.

Feeling ya, buddy. It makes me nervous that the hair is animated that badly at this point in the development stage, and that they're comfortable enough with how it looks that they put it in a game trailer. Makes me think it's not gonna get fixed.

I'm reminded of Samus jumping when i see it. Imo its a great touch. The small things count.

Another thing i find awesome and notice is that it seems that the attacks against the cyborgs are different depending on if its flesh hitting them or metal hitting them. Fuckin awesome!!

I hate to do it, but I have to agree with the posters who dont like his voice. Im not trying to bring the race thing back at all. He looks exactly how he should look. But when you got a guy screaming out high pitched bruce lee noises, and speaking in a low deep tone....its a bit off.

Liu once again looks like the go to character for people who are not super familiar with fighting games. This has always been his role. His special inputs are probably the same (easy), and his combos are probably pretty simple to string together. This is a good thing

As far as the people questioning if thats Raidens voice in the beginning......of course its Raidens voice!!! Theres thunder clapping all the while hes talking lol.
