I doubt that the story script that was leaked was fake. There's no time to go back to change that drastically. I do believe there is more to the story then what we've seen so far though.

I hope that's the case, too.
I'd like the chance to play as the villains during story mode.

The point is, some of the things might be fake. Like Cyber Reptile for instance. I'm sure the story is 100% real, but there could be some other tidbits thrown in for giggles.

Maybe the story script is different, but Hector Sanchez said the Bios & Endings are real. so...

Am I the only one that is kind of pissed off about the way they divided the chapters in story mode? I mean how on Earth did Mileena, Shang, Kano, Sindel not get a chapter, and characters who have not been a big part of the story like Stryker, Nightwolf, Cyrax and Jade get theirs??? And don't get me started with Cyber Sub-Zero

It seems the story is told only from the good guys' side. This even have less chapters than MKvsDCU.

There's always the chance, however small, there might be more to the story that wasn't in the leak. Just a thought. Don't get me wrong, I do like the Heroes, but I would like for the Villains to have their moment in the spotlight as well.

Heck even nightwolf will prob come back even though died come back evil from quan chi but has a mind of his own then and decides to go solo by himself kinda like Evil Raiden did, as for kung lao and kitana they will more than likely be brought back and quan chis spell get broken and they return good.

Because they are "illegal" leaks. They haven't been confirmed by NRS yet and become official news just yet.

That they're illegal leaks is irrelevant. The story is about the possible hacking, NOT about treating the endings, story etc as gospel. Even though the mods believe the info revealed is legit, too.

The purported hacking of the demo to reveal everything is BIG NEWS. Even if it's officially unconfirmed (and that changes a little depending what thread you read) that story of the hacking should be on the front page.

One headline: "Demo allegedly hacked; all Storyline revealed?" says it all. The biggest news in 9 years and it's not on the front page?
