I'm getting the game for both systems as well but this PS3 exclusivity BS has gotta stop. This is the 21st Century and the Age of Consumerism has taken shape. We are now seeing devices "playing well" together, where you can connect an X-box to a computer (without using illegal means) and where DVDs can be played with Blu-ray players; music players and phones can also work with computers. So this exclusivity shit is getting old and unfair to the general consumer overall. It demands us consumers to buy both games for both systems to enjoy their benefits.
Eventually, if the economy doesn't improve, luxury items like video games will become a thing of the past, like LP and Betamax and laser discs.

Oh, well that is NOT NRS at fault then, the 360 is.

Absolutely incorrect, if this is the case than iTunes and other digital outlets should be in major decline because they have exclusive content. You're comparing format readability to actual systems and it makes no sense. Xbox is created by microsoft so naturally it should be able to hook up to another computer.
Also, plenty of Xbox games have had exclusive features that PS games haven't had. Were you this upset before? Probably not...

I'm really getting tired of using this reference, but NHL 11 is a great example of a custom soundtrack on the 360. You specify what playlist you want to play for each team and for each given event.
Last time I'm going to say this.
360 Media Player =/= Custom Soundtrack

.............son of a BITCH!!!
another exclusive PS3 feature.
well assuming us xbox users actually get it, i'm going to make this ill.
im going to hook it up with all kinds of Mortal Kombat theme musics, converted straight from YouTube into Mp3. Then I'm going to take those tracks, put them on my Ipod, then take my Ipod and install the tracks into the Xbox. And then Bam, Mortal Kombat techno music (the good renditions) on stages of my choice.

I.E- Sonic Adventure for the XBLA: The final cutscene after beating Perfect Chaos lines up perfectly with the song "Me Myself & I" by De La Soul, but it gets somewhat ruined with sonic & friends talking. Even the chaos and Chaos bump up and down perfectly to the music.
I have a PS3 also but never used the feature on this console so apparently it only comes in at certain times? Sounds good but I really hope the 360 gets the same deal.

As i said, MOST GAMES have sound cut off. Which means some games still leave the sound. Good to know you actually read my post.....

I read it, and you're wrong, not most game have the sound cut off, I have never in my 5 years of having a 360 had this happen. So when I get MK9, i'll play with custom soundtracks, and still hear the gameplay. Finally the PS3 will have this old feature that Sony was too lazy to add.

Ed Boon doesn't have much influence on what console gets what content. He's the creative director of Mortal Kombat - he makes the game along with the rest of the MK team. He does NOT decide what is exclusive content and not for what console and such. That's more or less WB's department.
If you are going to put the blame on someone, at least put it on the right ones.

If it is even possible to make use of this feature when plating online, it would be your music that you would be listening to as that's the sound programmed in your console.

Don't argue this with me as if I don't own a 360. In the house that me and m0s3pH live in there are 5 Xbox 360's. The sound on several games does get cut off by the music. I never said ALL so stop acting like I did say that. Out of the 5 xbox 360's we have the only one I have not tried it on is m0s3pH's. I have tried it on mine (slim), our other brother's (elite) and our two now busted pro consoles.

People saying "LOL WITH XBOX CUSTOM SOUNDTRACKS IT DOESN'T CUT OFF ANYTHING ELSE. THERE ISN'T ANY BALANCE WITH THE GAME SOUND EFFECTS AND THE MUSIC" are just either stupid or don't have an Xbox.
There are plenty of games on the Xbox where it cuts off dialogue, foot steps, and other background noises while you're playing music, and even if the game doesn't or another noise is still annoying you while the music is playing, almost 99% of the time you can make that noise quieter in the sound options for that specific game, and if the music is too loud you can change that even easier from the music menu.
I'm not saying that its better than the PS3's, but in no way is the Xbox's custom soundtrack bad. It's perfectly fine, and in no way is screaming fallacies going to get you anywhere.
