No, it is not a matter of opinion. "Crime and Punishment" is better than "Cat in the Hat." "Stairway to Heaven" is better than "Achy Breaky Heart." These are not opinions but measures of artistic value. If everything was a matter of opinion, than all artistic value is null and every standard of aesthetics is arbitrary.

The "that's my opinion" defense works with the flavor of strawberries, or favorite colors. It doesn't work with art. Otherwise, if I drew a half-assed tree on a bathroom wall, than it's no better or worse than the Mona Lisa. That's insanity. Everyone knows it. "That's my opinion" is not a defense for bad writing, which Cyber-Sub happens to be.

However, a 2D representation of MK4 would be pretty sick, though it would be damn lame on the character side of things if they didn't mix some shit up storyline-wise.

How if cyber subby(assuming he's both real AND cannon) eliminates the current character? Some of you are forgetting that this could potentially eliminate Sub from the NEXT MK game(which most likely not happen).

This thread has turned into a circus....while I do think this is funny in an outrageous way..I still fail ot understand how switching the roles of Smoke and Sub-zero is some type of dynamic twist, it's tantamount to making Johnny Cage the chosen one/Shaolin mon and making Liu Kang the movie star/comedy relief guy, the role reversal just doesn't seem like it would change anything and in the end the same goals are accomplished. Of course, I would imagine that this "Cyber-Zero" is a what if kind of cool easter egg character, which I'm hoping he is, that would be amazing, as opposed to just flip flopping their stories and throwing younger Subbie off from his epic story...hmm.
