If Blaze is in, then Hornbuckle should be as well.

Actually, the flaming guy in The Pit 2 was named Torch by fans and it was later proved that it was actually Blaze.
Blaze is not a fan made character.

He was birthed from a rumour because people are dumb.
That guy clearly wasn't just torched in a Fatality or anything he had to be the Human Fucking Fireball.
Fan Made just like Ermac

He was a fan made character, yet like all other fan made characters (except hornbuckle and Scarlet) he was put into the game. They had to sue the name Blaze because "Torch" would've been to similar to Human Torch

Yet Ermac also made it to the game as a real character. I don't see your point, honestly. They are valid characters of the MK world.

My point is.
Hornbuckle and Torch are the worst of the worst of all myths.
they shouldn't even be given a thought.

I would've said nay if I didn't know about MK9's story. Popular or not, if this is about Raiden trying to stop Armageddon or something, Blaze will at least be included in some way. Would'nt care if he was or not, personally.

Y'know what would be hilarious?
If the first scene in story mode was Raiden teleporting to Outworld, snapping Blaze's neck, and then it's Armageddon averted, work's done, he dusts his hands off, goes to the tournament, and the story doesn't change at all from the way we remember it.
That would put the biggest smile on my face.

Yeah them douchebags deserve to never wake up jst by making things worse, idc bout hornbuckle he was liu kangs gay cousin for all i care (honestly a name like hornbuckle?) , and blaze again no matter what dies his gonna die no matter what so end of story for him
Hornbuckle was a fan-made name. It came from Jade popping up and saying "Hornbuckle who?" - a reference to someone named Leanne Hornbuckle in the credits of the home versions (may have been just SNES). Canonically, that guy across from blaze in the background of the Pit II has no name, and is just one of Onaga's "Holy Men" who Blaze mentioned had ambushed him.

Oh well still not really much of a canon character at all never in the game cept for that one background image so I guess he served his reason in the game and will never be seen again

Well, the story will change. Because Raiden will absorb all Blaze power, and again become "enlightened". And he thinks "what about kill Shao Kahn before become Emperor?" and he send a mental message to his more younger himself. And, well... you understand, right?
Btw, Blaze appearance in MK2 is non-canon. When he was captured, Daegon woke up. And this was milennia ago before Taven...

Naw what I'm thinking is nothing happens if Blaze isn't in his giant form standing on a pyramid. If you killed him while he was still walking around in the stone underpants and gauntlets with flame designs on them like in MKDA, there should be no "prize", the quest would just be uncompleteable.
Plus, by "In Outworld", I mean either the Pit II OR the chamber where he's guarding the egg. Wherever Blaze is at that time. It doesn't matter where, so long as he's dead without any fuss.
Alternatively, Raiden could find and kill Taven and Daegon. The point is, nobody who's actually in MK1 thru 3 has a damn thing to do with causing Armageddon. In fact, the good guys won everything all the time in the first three games. They completely ruined the bad guys' shit. There's no possible way Raiden could improve that. Everything was fucking sunshine and rainbows at the end of MK3. They even got bonus shit they weren't even trying for, like setting Edenia free somehow!
I guess he could prevent Deadly Alliance by killing Shang Tsung. That's the closest he's ever gonna get though. Armageddon would still happen. And he could kill Kahn to prevent his own death (and has to kill Kahn or else Shang won't stay dead)...but y'know what happens to bad guys when they die? They end up in Shinnok's house working for him. Or perhaps trying to conquer his realm, which is even worse. Either way, Raiden is not exactly winning on the "prevent Armageddon" checklist.
He could also stop the Dragon King from coming back by going to the Nexus, breaking whatever Kamidogus Shujinko's found, and killing Shujinko. But again, Shujinko isn't in MK1 thru 3.
Nothing he can change about the first three games will do a damn bit of good. So the only two possible ways this game can go that would actually make sense to me is either
1) He kills Blaze right away and then changes nothing else and we get a real remake of the original games with no changes, OR
2) Everything Raiden changes is a mistake and the final result is a Bad End where everybody is worse off than they would've been if he'd left well enough alone.
