I can't freakin wait, the cinematics look incredible!Âa When Johnny Cage bumped Sub and Scorp's head together, I almost died. So incredibly awesome. And Sub Zero's freezing effects on Johhny looked really cool.

I love quick time events. I know that's an unpopular opinion,Âa but I love em when they're done right.

Story mode looks hype as fuck, can't wait. Already looks better than MK9's and Injustice's by far. I like the QTEs. They make it interesting. Johnny is GOAT. Can't wait to play him.

Overall, stream was disappointing. Best part was definitley story sneak peak and Johnny variation walkthrough, but I have several complaints;

>No Johnny fatality
>No Johnny X-Ray
>Too much time spent talking about nothing. The MKX streams are fucking criminal for this.
>The questions after the story sneak peek where the only ones that were interesting. I can't even remember the other questions and answers because they were that pointless.
>I'm getting tired of them acting like the roster is a big surprise. I know the 'casuals' don't know the roster but it's still pretty damn well known now and it's really annoying seeing Tyler and Shaun give that smug 'I know the roster and you don't' look (even though we totally fucking do) every time they mention an 'unannounced character.
>Everyone apart from Derek, Tyler, Shaun and the guy they had for Reptile and Kitana stream are absolutely boring fucks who just suck the hype out of the room. For once I'd love to see Boon, Hans Lo or anyone else to sit in on a stream and make it a bit more exciting.
>This entire stream felt rushed as fuck. They went through Johnny so fast that I barely recall anything.
>That ending was pathetic. "We'll have something cool to show yo-" stream ends.

All in all, take away the story teaser and the stream was a 7.5/10. Without the Johnny gameplay its a solid 5. I honestly think it was the second-to-worst stream yet.

But aaaaahhhhshark (LOL!) is more than likely correct, it'll all be worth it to see her whoop ass during her chapter. It will most likely take place during the Outworld Civil War, since that seems to be when she's most active in the 25 year span. Will be fun. Calling a Sonya vs. Erron Black fight at some point, as well as her saving Cassie's disobedient ass at some point. Stay! The fuck! In the base! Cassandra!


Like I said, I'm probably reading too much into this aspect, it's just a tad bit of a bummer to see her inevitably play Johnny's sidekick as opposed to partner, especially when we've been waiting all this time to see what they'd do against Shinnok.

Actually I am beginning to not be bothered by the roster. So far, I have my hopes upped by this, because story mode looks competent. So at least that is going fine.

only positives I got from the trailer was that Sub-Zero & Scorpion have 3 Costumes in the game. (Scorpions MK9)
