Quantum Chi looks absolutely amazing.

I was hoping his egotistical into or outro would have the humiliated dead pulling his personalized undead rickshaw and then he would use their bodies as stepping stones to exit his mode of transportation, but alas this intro is just as creative even if it is a bit out there.

Hopefully a small number of characters are freed when Shinnok and Quan Chi fight among themselves; therefore the zombies could be captured, cleansed and brought back to life through necromancy.

Now that Quan Chi has bats suited for Scorpion, give Scorpion skeletal necromancy so he can crudely reanimate the dead and his clan for building his personality. He has had time to train and observe his evil masters after all.

I also look forward to seeing cutscenes where Shinnok and his clone with the real amulet are pitted against waves of fallen heroes under Quan Chi's control. The inevitable betrayal ends with one or both of the Shinnoks killed in action.

Quan Chi seems very solid. I am really liking what I am seeing. I have a few minor complaints but will discuss that in a bit.

First the good stuff; Design - very well done. Couldn't have asked for something better. It really fits him well. Would like to know the story behind the green hands and skull on his chest. Pretty sure it is not Shinnok but I sure hope they fleshed it out storywise.

Fatality - This looks very promising. He finally has a fatality where he uses his fucking sorcery! Neck stretch? Leg rip? These were more humoristic than brutal. QC has the worst fatalities in MK history. He needs this. Also, Boon said its one of his favorites.

His intro - Basically saying look at me; no longer am I that sorcerer desperately in persuit of power, I have all the power I can have and facing me means instant annihilation.

My main complaint; his Summoner variation. Not a fan of the bat. Why a bat of all things? He should have had more minion types to summon. Those skeletons from MKA's intro, THAT is what he should have had in this variation. Though, I could also choose to see this as a hint that Shinnok actually IS playable and skeleton moves are reserved for him. I sure hope so... Also, not a fan of his X-ray. My least favorite so far. Same goes for his stance, too much resemblance with Raiden's stance.

All in all, awesome presentation. Very impressed. Still, not as good as Raiden's presentation but very close.

Ok, I had to watch this trailer a few more times because my initial thoughts about it was meh. I thought that Kano had a way better reveal and I just wasn't blown away like I was with Kano and Raiden.

While I did like his overall look and felt wierded out (in a good way) by Quan Chi's intro, I felt that the gameplay for him was a bit lacking. As someone mentioned before, he did not summon any skeletons from the ground which was quite disappointing.

BUT, after watching the trailer 3 more times, I realize just how badass this game is going to be! Just wow. The pace of this game is insane! I'm going to freakin love that run button! And in one variation Quan Chi is abusive with those portals! Opening, closing, kicking, throwing, stabbing, pushing his opponent through portals from every which way! And they X-ray! At this point I think we all have made peace with the fact that these characters won't die from x-rays, no matter how fatal they look lol, crazy!

This game is truly looking amazing! The only thing I'm missing from Quan Chi is teleport stomp and the summoning of whole skeletons. But hey, it's only one trailer right? Can't wait for more!

About damn time he got some new attire, I was thinking NRS would never get over that stupid Deadly Alliance outfit. Honestly through Boon if you read this will you please start announcing more characters that aren't so damn obvious or at least starting announcing them faster.

Never a fan of Quan Chi. But, same as goes with Kano, they seem to did a good job on him. He looks great! And that portal variation looks promising!

Any reveal was welcomed, and this was another one well done.

We all knew Quan Chi was going to be in MKX. That wasn't the question in "that one thread", it was about who this new reveal was going to be. People didn't think Quan Chi, because they were too focused on the songs... which don't have anything to do with Quan Chi, really.

I never liked Quan Chi and I am not too keen on him, but the gameplay looks neat and that fucking fatality teaser. Jesus Christ, ...and Jesus probably never existed.

Dunno about that Cassie and D'Vorah look cool enough. And they don't seem to have the same body. We just need more of the deadlier sex.

I'm actually certain that in his Summoner variation, we'll see some Earthrealm warriors be summoned. That would be epic.
