I'm actually a big fan of this concept. The biggest draw for me is the patchwork look. In some respects in reminds me of Jax007's concept. Since Ermac is an amalgam of thousands of warrior souls, I like how disheveled this outfit makes him look.

I get what Razor said about the hood and belts being a little derivative from things like Assassins Creed, or Final Fantasy, or maybe a bit of DarkSiders. But I like it more than the belt strap gimp mask he wears as his primary. I think of all the former ninja characters to sport a hooded cloak, Ermac is the best choice, even over somebody look Noob Saibot. I think the hood eliminates any trace of humanity the character has. And for a character that's really a supposed to be sort of the Frankenstein's monster of the series (put together from different pieces) that only helps.

So playing into the disheveled or put-together mystic look is, at least in my opinion the perfect way to go for the character. Big fan of this piece.

I always hated the whole wrapped face and forehead gem thing he had going on for a while, I hope this replaces it for good.

I hope it will not be his look in the new game. I mean the art is nice but I dont think it fits the character. It looks like some character from Assassin's Creed game.

If this is indeed an Ermac concept or render then I have high hopes for the rest of the cast's costumes.

I've got a feeling this is the actual MKX Ermac, imho look at Sub and scorpion they do look more grim/dark than in their MK9 counterpart.
My gues is this will be the darkest MK to date 101% sure

Nice design, but not for Ermac. Not for any MK character, really. Doesn't have the right feel. But the man sure did great work in MK9.

I don't see any Assassin's Creed to this at all. I do see a Spawn-esque Shadow Priest.

I bet it will be his costume if he's in the game.

I don't know if it'll be exact but after seeing the trailer, it would not surprise me if Ermac looked something similar to this (or at least within the same theme/style).

With that said, I do love the look. It's a bit different, but I just really love how mythical he looks I guess you can say.

Wasn't it this Bernard Beneteau who began setting the tone for the direction this new games aesthetics are headed? His old Scorpion concept art is alot like the new in-game Scorpion, if only in feel and texture. His old Sub-Zero art isnt too far off either. The design itself may be different but, direction is pretty similar.

Anywho, this is one of those fan efforts that should make the game. They've done it before...let's see it again NRS!

This suits him 100% better than just another red ninja outfit.

I really love his Outfit. I hope i see it in MKX. It fits him really well. He seems so "screwed-up" that i can imagine some bad things happened to him. I have my finger crossed to see him like this.

Anyway, I'm late to the party here but this whole look...just no. It's like the Wizard of Oz meets Assassin's Creed. Not digging it at all.

I despise that oversized hood (where are his eyes?) and those diving platforms on his shoulders, all of which throw the body out of proportion. The lone positive is that at least there's more emphasis on red.

Why people always feel the need to compare characters from other movies/games with MK characters?

Damn every time I look at this picture, he looks, I mean they look so awesome. Gives me a huge mystic vibe, that I've been getting from them since Deception.

They better not scrap this concept look just because it's leaked.
I love Scarecrow in Arkham Asylum, and while most people hate buckled down character designs, I love it.

I'm a big fan of Ermac so this concept art of him is amazing.

I'm not the biggest Ermac fan, however this concept looks very "Wraithy" and that's exactly the kind of look I'd expect someone who's comprised of many many souls to look like! Great concept and I would love Ermac to look like this!

I am sorry for giving anyone false hope about the possibility of leaked art for Mortal Kombat X. I truly believed it was relevant Ermac information.

It's okay man, I'm still holding on to the theory that this is indeed an actual concept for the game.

I bet this is ACTUALLY how he looks. or something very similar. I bet the next character revealed will be an existing character and I wouldn't be surprised if its Ermac
